- DDDebraDec 21, 20255.01/11/26 update since Google doesn't allow me to do a new review...I am getting used to being spoiled by the staff at Outback Carrollwood. I am a disabled senior, cannot afford to eat out much, but have discovered treating myself to not cooking by calling in an order and doing pick-up. Jaeoni, like the others, treated me like the $ customers with her big smile and respectful manners. Team spirit is alive at Outback Carrollwood!! First, I must mention that when I tried to pull up my previous, recent review on the Carrollwood Outback, it was no longer showing. Curious......Anyway, I can offer nothing but 5* praise for the quality of food and service for this location. Due to my budget as a disabled senior, I don't get to dine in often. This location treats drive-up customers with the same professionalism of dine-in customers. I know "the rules;" Cornell Univ used to send their hotel students to me at the largest Ithaca hotel to train them in becoming GMs. The staff at the Carrollwood Outback genuinely exhibit all the points I used to teach. My daughter shares her Rewards with me. Two visits ago, my drive-up order was placed and I was greeted by, I believe his name was Spencer, who came to me with that big smile of his, thanking me for choosing Outback. We chatted for a minute and I asked him to get his manager so I could express my compliments. The manager came out and I spoke of the top notch service and respect shown to me. This was the recent review that I had posted and I don't know what happened. This past week, I again had the opportunity to have Outback treats. I considered "merging" it with one of their truly affordable specials, making me a couple nights off from cooking. I called for info/help, got Sophia...she was incredibly patient with me and my concussion-brain, a good fit for me. We hung up, I made my decision, and phoned back in. Sophia took the call, thanked me, and delivered my order herself. (She did not originally answer the phone). Again, I asked for the manager and Jennifer came out. We had a great chat about the quality and professionalism of her staff and the quality of the food I always receive. This location deserves to be highly rated because it is obvious to this "former trainer" that the enjoyment her staff shows in their job contributes to the success of the restaurant! PS: I forgot to mention that your cheesecake is the BEST I have had in a LONG time...it should be on your appetizer list to make sure one's stomach isn't too full after dinner have desert!
