  To be fair, I never actually got to try the food so I cannot rate it's quality. I arrived about 4 in the afternoon, looking to grab a bite, but we entered, we're seen and smiled at by a gentleman who went in the back, then no one ever came back out to seat us. We left after about 5 mins with no greeting, hearing ladies talking in the back, only two customers in the restaurant. * Edit 2/25/26 in response to owner: We were in on Monday afternoon around 4 pm headed to 5pm (we wanted take out so we could go watch the sunset, if you want exact times I can look on my gps) My very tall broad husband was wearing blue jeans, a navy T-shirt with cookie monster and a black sport coat. I was wearing a black dress black leggings and a denim jacket. I am short, but large and hard to miss, we were standing by the door. To the right of it I believe. You have a very small bell on the right side of the door handle, maybe if you don't want to miss customers you need a bigger bell? The man may not have been an employee but he definitely looked at us smiled and went in the back, where we heard women talking.

  I absolutely LOVE this spot! That quality of the fish is fantastic and the staff are lovely. This is a huge recommendation for me! This reminds me of when I was Studying in Tokyo. A small happy yummy spot!

  Small but cozy atmosphere. Owner is very kind. The employees give off a family vibe making it a nice place. Also lots of Japanese decorations, signs. And paintings to make it feel authentic. I had the Ramen and fried gyozaIt was very good. If you go ask for Caroline who is the owner.

  A small spot with big flavor! As a party of 4, we were still able to get a table after waiting only 10 minutes on a Friday night, which was very convenient since they don’t take reservations. People in our group got sushi and loved it! The ramen and Japanese curry were delicious. The ramen was the perfect level of spice.

  My boss and I decided to try this place today and we liked the flavor of the Matt & Rosy sushi roll but for the price we paid the presentation was horrible as they were scattered on the plate and the size of the roll was very tiny. The Tonkotsu Pork Ramen was very disappointing, the pork is sweet and it tastes as if you are eating sweet ham and the cut was very thick. Just for the flavor of the sushi I’m giving the food a 2 otherwise it would be a zero as I called the restaurant and all I was told is that is how “we make it” and I will let the chef know. Unfortunately, couldn’t take pics of the sushi because it was split with the other person on the bill before I could take pics. I hope people take note of this review before they try this place.
