I really enjoy the food at Kava it is always delicious and the employees are consistently kind, helpful, and welcoming. The only downside is that the temperature inside is extremely cold. It’s so chilly that the windows stay fogged up and it’s uncomfortable to dine indoors. I often see customers choosing to sit outside, but the outdoor seating is limited, and some people end up leaving. I hope they can adjust the temperature because everything else about this place is wonderful.

Placed an order for pickup. I got to the store and my bowl wasn't ready. I patiently waited 10 mins or so before asking the lady at the register to check on it.
She gave me attitude. Whatever. No big deal. But then she didn't even go and check. After another 10 mins I asked again and she seemed even more annoyed. She finally went back and found it for me
I started to leave but decided maybe I should check the bag. My side pita was missing and so were my pita chips. This time I asked for a manager to avoid the rude girl on the register. The manager just said "were short staffed tonight" and offered nothing beyond that.
That's not my fault as the customer.

I love cava, I’m actually obsessed with it. So much so that I literally will drive out of my way to get a bowl. However, after being in the car for over an hour today I decided to mobile order a bowl for me and my fiance from the Carrollwood location since it’s on the way home. I love Cava falafel so I ordered extra and PAID to get extra!
Only to get all the way home, ready to eat, and there is no free pita bread (which whatever, I have pita bread and they NEVER give it at this location anyways no matter how many times I select the option)
But ONE falafel in my whole entire bowl?!?!? Really??? ONE. Not even a normal serving and definitely not an “EXTRA” serving that I paid over $3 for but ONE literal falafel in the entire bowl. Thank GOD I halved it before realizing there were literally no others in my meal.
I should probably also share that this location has always been rude, and is always so behind on their orders, and they NEVER give the free pita — BUT when it’s good food, at the end of the day, I’m not picky on poor customer service so no biggie. But the worst part is when I order on my way home after a long day, I’m forced to go to this location. And once again I am entirely disappointed with the Carrollwood location. 0/10.
Absolutely terrible. And definitely not a true representation of Cava.

Went to pickup my order I placed at 9:30, mind you the restaurant hours online are to 10:30pm. When I went to pickup my order, both of the meats that I paid extra for were no longer available. Then when I went to get a drink, all of the tea had been put away and scrubbed, there was no ice, and I had to step around an employee mopping with multiple customers present. Never going back
