  We visited Byblos on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. The food itself was just "Ok" overall, and our waitress was nice with prompt service—but the staff in general didn’t come across as particularly friendly, which impacted the experience. Unfortunately, there were several details that fell short. The pita bread was not good at all, which is disappointing for a Mediterranean restaurant. The outdoor patio seating also needed attention, as the table and chairs were dirty and had to be wiped down before we could sit. After spending nearly $140 for two people, we were especially surprised by the presentation at the end—our leftovers were packed in a black styrofoam container and handed to us in a generic white “Thank You” bag you’d expect from a convenience store. It didn’t match the price point or dining expectations. Overall, it falls far from a 5-star experience, and we won’t be returning.

  Atmosphere is great. Very cozy inside even on a stormy day. Our waiter John was an absolute delight. I was interested in both the shish kabob and shawarma and he was able to accommodate both dishes as a platter. He also brought us out fresh warm pita bread which was delicious. Byblos is a good place to try something new.
