I always love this place and honestly surprised I haven't wrote a review before. A must visit spot whenever you're in Tampa. There is great food and drinks and it never disappoints. We visited Saturday and brought my brother from out of town to check it out. He first introduced me to Jai Alai back when we lived in Michigan and once we moved down here to Florida we've been enjoying it ever since. He actually never had Jai Alai on draught so we all enjoyed some along with a couple other varieties. A wonderful experience for us as usual but grateful he also enjoyed himself. The kitchen wasn't open this time though on previous visits the food was delicious, I'mconfident to say it still is. I am always pleased with our experience here and this brewery has something for everyone. Family, friends, kid and pet friendly. Highly recommend.

The beer is still outstanding as usual. Kayla was awesome. I appreciate being able to taste things. A lot of breweries do that, but unfortunately, some are stingy on certain beers. Because I was able to try different barrel aged beers, I ended up spending more money, both in the taproom and to go. I understand that they will be closing this location and opening one up in Ybor City. I look forward to returning sometime when I come back to Florida.

I went here with my husband and he is Arabic. And he says “habibi” to some people. Which means beloved in Arabic. It’s a term of endearment. One guy got super offended about it and we got kicked out for saying it. It was my third time coming to this place which we only go there to visit our friend the bartender. But the vibe is kind of dry. The workers don’t smile much or seem excited to be there. Inshallah, maybe the new location will have nicer employees.

If you are looking for a really good Tampa craft beer experience, Cigar City Brewing is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between a high-energy taproom and a laid-back local hangout. It’s industrial yet welcoming, capturing that authentic Florida grit that makes the brewery world-famous. The selection of unique beers is unparalleled. While everyone knows Jai Alai, the taproom-only releases and experimental pilot brews are where the magic really happens. Whether you’re into a deep, barrel-aged stout or a crisp, tropical sour, there is always something innovative to try. What truly elevates the visit, though, is the service. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable; they don’t just pour your drink, they can explain the flavor profiles, the brewing process, and help you find your new favorite pour with ease. The food menu is equally impressive and goes far beyond standard "bar snacks." Their Bavarian pretzels are massive, warm, and the perfect salty companion to a cold pint. If you’re looking for something more substantial, the sandwiches are top-tier—expertly crafted and packed with flavor. To round it all out, their fries are perfectly seasoned and consistently crispy. Whether you are a die-hard hophead or just looking for a great spot to grab a bite and a brew, Cigar City is a home run. I can’t recommend it enough!
