South Tampa was the tenth Smokehouse to open in the Sunshine State and is located just down the road from Raymond James Stadium, downtown, the bay, and the Florida Aquarium. It’s also located only a couple of miles from the University of Tampa.

Even when it isn’t busy, it takes a while to get food, one meal (actually just an entree) during why would be a peak time. The last straw here is that explicitly said I wanted beef brisket. I end up getting pork. I don’t eat pork. I only discovered this after getting to my location to enjoy my meal. I have to eat in disgust because I need to take food with a prescription. Just sad they can’t get it right on a very slow day. It cost too much $ for ill-prepared food. And sadly, inside the restaurant, I just see abundance of fruit and black flies. It has gone downhill. They need pay raise the employees and boost morale in this place, instead of just relying on the word of God.

Me and my fiancée had the pick 3 pulled chicken, the pulled pork and brisket 🔥 the collard greens were a nice addition too, the portions for the price were great and the team working here was very kind, we will definitely be back again!

However, one of the staff picked up my 2 year old daughter’s puppy ear headband and decided to wear it instead of returning it. It created a no chance return for a place we would’ve considered returning to in the future.

But over the last few years you Meal Sides from 3 Choices, down to 2 Sides, then you side containers became smaller! You gave rolls or cornbread with the meals, But now you have to pay for that extra! Honestly, I have to give you an overar rating of only One Star I'm afraid, Because sadly, I feel for the prices you charge; you should give more. And others, i've spoken to who been with me to eat there and who I know who've eaten there also agree with me. I still come, but I only grab a sandwich and not the meals.Anymore. All I can say is that I help you raise your Game
