I didn't order anything but I want whoever worked last night to get some recognition because sometimes it's the small acts of kindness that make an impact. Last night around 8 o'clock after doordashing for 3 hours in extremely cold weather, I stopped by Dunkin to use the bathroom and try to get a coffee in hopes to warm up a little. I didn't realize they closed that early and stopped in. After waddling like a penguin from the back side parking lot to the front of the store I tried to open the door and it was locked. When I was going to walk away an angel of a woman who was cleaning the dining area caught my attention and upon a short, mutual exchange of mouthing words through a window, she unlocked the door for me to use the bathroom. I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and was having a busy night without breaks to use the restroom so by the time I paused my app to use the restroom I felt like I was going to lose control of my bladder. I saw that they were almost done closing and couldn't bring myself to ask for the coffee that I was wanting (everything was sparkling and clean) so I went to the bathroom and left. But this really stuck with me today and I want to make sure that the two beautiful women who were closing last night really made my night better by this one act of kindness. Thank you both so much!
