A delivery driver blocked my vehicle in so poorly that I could not safely maneuver, nearly hitting me in the process. When I tried to address it, the driver was nonchalant and dismissive of the danger he caused. I went inside to pick up my "paid" order and ask the manager for help. Despite being visibly shaken and in distress, the manager offered zero empathy. Instead of addressing the safety issue with his driver, he became aggressive, yelled in my face, and accused me of being 'rude' before throwing me out of the store. As a woman of color in a lobby full of people who did not look like me—including the manager and the driver—it was impossible not to feel that my distress was dismissed because of who I am. I am a professional and a paying customer, yet I was treated like a nuisance rather than a victim of their driver's negligence. This store is unprofessional, unsafe, and creates an environment where women of color are silenced and disregarded. This was absolutely unacceptable. I will be filing a police report as well as contacting corporate.
