Very poor experience with the food being completely over seasoned and large amounts of salt. Also even though they offer gluten free understanding of food allergies is very poor from waiters to kitchen staff. Prepared a gluten free meal and the shrimps came out on bread!!!! For someone with a serious food intolerance to gluten this is completely not acceptable.

We eat at this Outback often. The service is always hit or miss. We showed up today 40 minutes before closing and the hostess discouraged us from staying to eat even though there was not a wait or many customers. I was disappointed but did not want to eat somewhere that would not be happy to serve us.

Make sure you don't get any seasoning on your food the steak and lobster were just covered in seasoning to a point of ridiculousness that they apologized and they fixed the steak up for me but the lobster was only like 2 oz and covered in seasoning and I didn't eat it and I tried to wash it off in the cold water at the table but I didn't feel like making a second complaint the tuna dish that my mom had was amazing my steak was pretty good once they got it right I don't recommend paying the $15 for the lobster it's only like 2 oz it was really really really really really really really really really really small Andover cooked and over-seasoned And the steak had way too much seasoning as well be careful about asking to have no seasonings or extra light seasoning because they are heavy around their it's part of their company policy or something.. There is a sign on the wall but it's not when you can see when you walk in you have to sit down and look for it it's around the corner from where you sit it's hard to see I mean somebody would have to point it out to you and then they want to leave the pressure on the server to have to say it and then they have a whole speech and the manager told us how she says it and she was very overbearing and talk too much in her form of service so she's not really the best teacher but she was nice and we did pay too much and we tipped like $40 but that's good I'm not sure if we're going to go back to stay outback steakhouse anytime soon They're only getting four stars because of the service because of the guy that was working as the waiter and he wasn't even that great he bent my ID or tried to or started to anyway I didn't like the way it was handling it and I have experience as a bouncer and my job was to check IDs so I had him do a little play with me and I showed him how you can look at the ID and give people a dirty look and say it's wrong and say no this says you're 7 ft 7 and make a joke out of it and you know I have a gray in my beard and he's 20 something and he's messing with my ID because it's from a different state and it was just there was a little things you know and there was a lot to get over and get through and you know it's okay we had a good time because we have a good time but I'm not sure if you like good food if you like nice steak if you like lobster I don't recommend you get it out the outback steakhouse although the tuna was really good The steak was okay once they remade it for me it was okay they gave me a piece and I didn't really like to cut they chose for the remake it showed a lot of pride in the kitchen back there and that's a problem you run into the restaurant business is the kooks are full of themselves and how dare there's a mistake and it must be our fault and Blah blah blah blah Anyway the food was okay The service was pretty good And management tried to make up for it but I didn't feel like apologizing for complaining a second time and saying that I don't want to pay for the lobster I probably should have made a fuss, but whatever.. tip well and walk away

Outback used to be one of our family’s favorite places. It was actually my mom’s favorite restaurant, so I still go back twice a year — once on her birthday and once on the anniversary of her passing. There’s a lot of sentiment tied to walking through those doors, and for a long time it was a place associated with good memories, generous meals, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, that experience has changed — and it’s not just a “last couple visits” issue. The downturn has been noticeable for quite some time now. I keep going back hoping it will feel like it used to, but each visit leaves me a little more disappointed. The biggest difference is value. Portions have clearly shrunk over the years while prices have steadily increased. What used to feel hearty and satisfying now feels scaled back. It’s not subtle — it was a noticeable shift when it happened, and it hasn’t corrected. The wings are a perfect example. Flavor-wise, they’re still one of my favorites anywhere. That hasn’t changed. But the size absolutely has. They used to be huge — almost oversized compared to most restaurants. Now they’ve swung completely the other direction. The sad part isn’t just that they’re smaller than they used to be. By any standard, they’re small. I genuinely can’t recall another restaurant I’ve been to serving wings that small. The atmosphere and overall feel have also shifted. It used to feel hospitality-driven. Now it feels more like the focus is on efficiency and margins. Service hasn’t been awful, but it doesn’t have the same warmth and attentiveness that once made the place stand out. It’s disappointing because this brand built its reputation on generous portions, solid food, and a fun, comfortable environment. That formula worked. It created loyal customers like my family. When that balance changes, people notice — especially those of us who have been coming back for years. I’ll probably still stop in twice a year because of what it represents for me personally. I just wish the experience still matched the memories.
