Chicago “tavern” style pizza .
SERVICE:
Nice people great service. Fast..
ATMOSPHERE:
Cute little hole in wall atmosphere like you’d see in Italy. Dining inside and outside. Across from the Memorial Park Amphitheater.
FOOD:
I’ve never heard of Chicago “Tavern style“ pizza. I’m used to the typical Chicago deep dish square pies. This pie was sold as whole pies and by the slice. Slices are cut like a traditional round pizza. I’m not a fan of the new designer, thin crust, pizzas, and that’s what this pizza appears to be. Pizza sauce was tasty. Pepperoni could’ve been a bit spicier for my liking and the crust was a bit chewy.
BOTTOM LINE:
As always with all my reviews, the bottom line comes down to the “customer so what“. Would I come back? Probably not. Not because the pizza wasn’t OK but because this type of pizza is not my favorite style of pizza. If you think you’d like to try and learn what Chicago “Tavern style“ pizza is like, check it out. Otherwise, there were other great pizza places in the Stuart area.

I’m originally from Chicago and am always looking for a pizza that reminds me of home. Pusateri’s did just that. Since moving to Florida, this is the first pizza that I can honestly say is as good as my favorite pizza in Chicago.
Will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend.

I had the best gluten free pizza at Pusateri and the service was second to none. I accidentally dropped my boxed leftovers and the attention that I received with apologies was unbelievable. The staff and management of this establishment went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated. Kudos to all of you, I will be back in October.

Used to be one of the better pizzas in Stuart. Unfortunately the owner jacked up the prices about 18 months ago. 28.00 for a large sausage pizza. In addition the owner also made a poor decision to cut way back on the mozzarella at some point in the past 15 months. Now just an average, overpriced pie like many around here. Won’t be back. Really wish owners would quit trying to save a buck by giving us less, and less quality.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza through their AI phone system. Showed up to pick it up and it was a “hot honey pepperoni” pizza instead. When I asked why, the cashier casually said, “Oh, the AI must have gotten it wrong.”
So I left without a pizza. They would’ve had to remake the entire order because a machine couldn’t understand “pepperoni.” If an actual human had answered the phone in the first place, this wouldn’t have happened. Instead, they wasted food, wasted my time, and blamed it on AI like that somehow makes it acceptable. This is exactly what happens when companies cut corners to save money and let automation replace basic customer service
