Went here to celebrate my birthday. Great experience. The hostess who greeted us was so friendly (wish I got her name). We made reservations on open table and asked for a table by the fish tank. We were seated by the tank as requested. Our server Kavan was friendly, informative & attentive. We had the brussel spout appetizer, wagu burger, and seafood pasta. All the food was delicious including the bread they brought to the table. The complimentary birthday dessert of warm pineapple upside down cake with ice cream topped off the meal. The decor in addition to the fish tank created a nice atmosphere. We were impressed by what a well oiled machine the service was from our server to the food delivery staff, bussers etc. There was one server at a table near us who interacted so nicely with the kids & gave them some stickers she carried with her...nice personal touch! There was no charge for parking as some reviewers mentioned, as long as you park at the restaurant. So glad we ignored some of the negative reviews and finally had dinner here. We had a very nice dining experience!

Visited on a Friday around 5. Great looking venue that had live music. We were excited with the menu and the "real deal" Mai Tai.
However drinks weren't well made and food was mediocre. The wait was unacceptable - over an hour for our food when the place wasn't even full. Waitress was nice but can't control the wait.
Maybe just bad luck that day but totally underwhelmed.

We visited for Valentine’s Day and had a very mixed experience.
We started outside at the bar and unfortunately were not impressed. It took about twenty minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge us, and the drinks were underwhelming once we finally received them.
The restaurant itself is beautiful. The large fish tank is absolutely amazing and very relaxing to watch while dining — definitely one of the highlights of the visit.
Food, however, was disappointing. I ordered the seafood salad and added salmon. For a $40 salad, I expected much better. The old bay aioli was unpleasant, the salmon was very dry and completely lacked seasoning, and the crab meat looked torn apart and almost “wrung out.” The shrimp was also served cold, which I wasn’t expecting.
We also had the lobster bisque. It was full of lobster meat, which was nice, but the soup itself noticeably lacked seasoning.
My husband ordered the grouper and also found it dry and not very flavorful.
On a positive note, our waitress Aurora was wonderful — attentive, friendly, and easily the best part of the service.
Unfortunately, the dining room was also extremely hot, to the point I started feeling unwell while eating.
Overall, the atmosphere and aquarium are beautiful, but the service at the bar and the food quality did not match the pricing.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at RumFish Grill last night, and it was truly a lovely experience from start to finish.
We were seated right next to the giant aquarium, which made the evening feel extra special. Watching the beautiful marine life while enjoying our meal created such a unique and relaxing atmosphere. Our server, Chelsea, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She took the time to identify all the different species of fish in the aquarium and happily answered our questions about the menu, helping us feel confident in our choices.
The food was excellent and beautifully presented. It was Valentine’s Day, and the restaurant was busy —filled with couples celebrating—yet the entire staff remained polite, professional, and warm. The overall vibe was wonderful — lively, romantic, and welcoming all at once.
We especially appreciated Chelsea’s sweet personality. She truly made our dining experience so enjoyable and one we won’t soon forget.
Thank you, Chelsea and RumFish! We’ll definitely be back.

I’m not one to leave a long, drawn out, negative review but what an unfortunate experience we had last night. This review is for a supervisor/manager we had an unpleasant interaction with yesterday. We didn’t catch her name but she had glasses and a green sweater on Feb 1st.
I came here from out of town visiting with my boyfriend & sister, meeting with our dad and his lifelong friend. We previously visited a few months ago during lunch service, and enjoyed it so much we decided to repeat and come back for dinner service.
Things were unfortunate and uncomfortable at the beginning. When we entered around 4:30 pm, there was no one attending the host desk, no sign indicating “Please wait to be seated,” and so I ask the woman at the retail shop if there was a hostess or if we seat ourselves. Maybe I didn’t ask the correct question, or didn’t understand her answer fully, but we were gestured to go ahead and take a seat.
So the five of us sit down at a five-top table, are greeted, watered, asked what we are celebrating, the whole nine yards. It’s not until 5-10 minutes after we get settled in that a woman comes by asking us “What’s your reservation name??😱” She clearly knew we did not have a reservation.
She walks us back over to the host stand where I try to explain all of this to her. She proceeds to throw her coworkers at the retail shop under the bus implying that they are stupid and don’t know what they’re talking about. We explain that we had been standing for a while waiting for any type of direction. Instead of apologizing or taking any ownership over the slip up, she asks us “how long?? How long is a while??” Lady I don’t know, but long enough for us to sit down and get comfortable. She then ends the conversation by saying “we just want to make sure we’re celebrating the RIGHT guests ;)” in perhaps the nastiest tone I’ve ever heard. Where I work, we try to make all guests feel worthy of celebrating. She looked and sounded like she hated us all.
If you are the type of establishment that leaves your host desk unoccupied, then you need to also have a sign indicating to wait to be seated. It would also be beneficial to let the retail workers know this too since they are the first people your guests will have an interaction with.
Our server was sweet, soft spoken, and excellent at her job. The food we ordered was delicious (crab cakes, mussels, jerk chicken, salmon, & crab legs). But it would have tasted even better if we felt welcomed and didn’t have such a bad taste in our mouths at the beginning.
The food & beverage director Aaron visited our table at the end and I explained this entire interaction. He was kind and listened. He tried to offer us something to rectify, but we had already paid and are just visiting and it feels so uncomfortable for us to go back.
This woman, I’m not sure if she was a supervisor or assistant manager, needs a refresh in hospitality and treating guests with decency and respect. Just an outstanding display of unprofessionalism on her part. I pity her staff if she treats them the same way she treated us.
