Dined solo at Carino and it turned into one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere and service was something that feels like a lost art these days.
I actually came back two nights in a row. The veal osso bucco, rack of lamb, and the brie were all 10/10.
A special shoutout to my server, Hamid “Santana,” whose exceptional service made the evening even better. Truly a great addition to the night and the kind of hospitality that keeps people coming back.

Carino's food is terrific.
But that is the only good thing we can say about it. The decor is severely outdated in the dining room, and the piano room is just a joke. Looks like Las Vegas lycra hanging on the walls. Tacky, tacky, tacky.
We were told a piano player would be in there to start at 7:00 so we decided to eat in there for the first time. Nobody plays on the piano. There's a little keyboard shoved up against the piano that some guy behind a curtain (at least from our vantage point) played eventually. Nothing like the sign outside with the guy wearing a tuxedo and singing.
Joanna was our server and we hardly saw her all night. As she explained when she gave us our check it was because they had given her a bunch of tables in the other room and only one in the piano room which was us. It means our party of four had one round of drinks all night, because we never saw Joanna. We would have had several more. She was not very welcoming or friendly... until she brought the check over apologizing for being MIA... then she was bright and bubbly. A little too late for us.
As I mentioned, at least the food was terrific and our guests loved the food as well.
Last note: that piano room is closed up five other nights a week. The smell of mold and mildew permeated the room. We should have asked to move to the main dining room but were trying not to be a pain during what seemed like a very busy time. If it wasn't for the food it would have been a zero out of five experience.

This was the best restaurant we’ve ever had in flordia by far. We are from chicago and have extremely high standards for food and always come to different parts of Florida and are almost always disappointed with food but this place really impressed us. Most authentic Italian restaurant we’ve ever tried in Florida. Everything was so good it really blew our minds. The service was phenomenal & every dish was so fresh and you can taste that everything is homemade. I got 3 bowls of the tortellini in brodo because it was that good. My husband got capellini Italiano, it was basically an angel hair pasta with marinara sauce. But it was so fresh and the flavor has so much complexity. Our server Christian was the absolutely best and made our experience so much better.
Everyone in the restaurant from the moment we walked in and walked out was so kind and went over the top with kindness and customer service excellence!!! Absolutely will come again!!!

I would like to start this review with compliments to Carino and his wonderful brother HAMID. Every time I come for dinner I'm treated like a King. The service and food is second to none. I just feel so good driving to the restaurant knowing that my family is going to have a wonderful experience. Secondly, I would love to give a super great shout out to my waiter CHRISTIAN who is a top notch professional. His knowledge of the menu and all of the fine Italian dishes available is at a high level. His constant attention at my table during my dinner is his specialty. CHRISTIAN has a great table side manner and most importantly a great sense of humor. He made us feel special and walked us out personally with thank you's and kind words. When I was back in my car with my family we all talked about how great our time was at Carino's with Christian and Hamid.

Overall great experience. Have eaten here several times, usually I have it delivered but picked it up this time. I always get the chicken parm with penne and this time I indulged and had the chocolate mousse cake as well. Portions are always large and also comes with a big piece Italian bread too. The photo doesn’t do it justice, this is after eating on it twice, and the pasta was in a separate container because the chicken took up the whole large container.
