  Really disappointed. Kahwa has been my go-to local matcha destination for years, I even send others to them because I love(d) supporting this local business and their products had always been great for me, until now. They must have changed the recipe for their matcha because it looks, tastes & even feels wildly different than it did before, and I always order the same thing. I spend over $10 (with tip) for a single tea and just want it to be a good product. This time it was not. I usually ask for extra matcha so its extra strong and can last me through the day, but this time I didnt ask for extra. I drank about 1/5th of it and the amount of phlegm my mouth produced was absolutely disgusting (fake sugar in the recipe now??? Thats typically what causes that. Gross. Stick to real sugar or dont sweeten it at all)... The matcha did not taste good and gave me extreme jitters from only drinking literally a fifth of it when I usually dont feel the energy from it until I'm almost halfway through the latte, and I've never gotten jitters from Kahwa matcha before. Are you adding alternative energy products to it now too? (off-setting lower quality matcha?) That's insane if so and incredibly rude. People want clean products, not more junk like the fast-food chains. The whole reason I've been choosing Kahwa over cheaper options for YEARS. You just lost a loyal customer and I'm super bummed because I wanted to support you and keep enjoying your products but I couldn't even drink the latte I bought. Wish I had saved that $ instead of throwing it in the garbage.

  Almond croissant - perfection. I come here ONLY for that 99% of the time. Egg bites same-level as large-chain coffee spots. Other pastries good too like the chocolate chip cookie and muffin (when they ran out of almond croissants) Gotten a cold brew here, not sweet or smooth, bitter, and actually a bit grainy at the bottom like they didn’t filter it out enough. The employees are ALWAYS so sweet, LOVE handing out stickers to my kids, even sorts through their stash to find cute ones.

  Amazing coffee!! The only bad part was the plant milk curdled in my cold brew :(

  I’ve tried several coffee shops in the Saint Petersburg area, and when it comes to quality coffee, this place is my favorite! The espresso is just right - not bitter or sour! I can tell it’s carefully roasted and dialed in. The prices are also reasonable, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. There is unfortunately very limited parking and outdoor seating.
