I even stopped ordering drinks (latte, americano, cold brew even…) and just getting espressos. I would bring my own sweetener and cream. I haven’t been back in about a year…this morning I ordered three shots of espresso over ice. I was handed a hot cup with them in it and when I referenced my order I asked for them to make it fresh…but then I found myself in this weird back and forth conversation about plastic cups and creama. Maybe that’s where they’ve missed the mark…who knows…but espresso over ice is not the same taste as ice added to espresso.
