  This visit was the last straw, we have visited this establishment many times since they opened and they have messed the order up countless times, mostly drive thru. Tonight we ordered via drive thru and they got it wrong again, ordered a plain and dry burger, even stated meat and bun only and they put cheese on it, even charged me for it. Went inside to correct the problem and the young lady wearing a blue shirt basically told me it was drive thru's fault, wait what? I told her it says Whataburger on your shirt so doesn't matter who's fault it was, it needs to be remade! She took the burger and went to the back of the store where I could hear her telling the group back there exactly what she and I said to each other. The manager finally walked up and asked what was wrong, told her I could hear her employee talking about our interaction to the folks in the back, I could clearly hear her. She defended her saying she was telling them what was wrong with the burger, I asked then why is she yapping about the comment I made about the branding on her shirt. The manager said she would take care of it, I doubt it, but refunded me the cost of the cheese and recieved my burger. When I got home this was the large fry in my wife's bag, we will never revisit this store again. I could go on about what I was told about their large onion ring portions in a previous order, but I will end it here.

  Always great service here! Refreshing to walk in to a fast food joint and someone actually smile and say good morning!…such a small gesture but so rare today! Plus all employees seem to be friendly with each other too! I come from Orlando where no whataburgers exist but everytime I’m in st Augustine I come here!

  I left a negative review of this location about a year ago, but this visit was a completely different experience. I’m not sure what changes have been made—whether in management or staff—but today was not only my best visit to this location, it was the most impressive experience I’ve had at any Whataburger in over 30 years as a customer. What stood out most was the level of care and professionalism demonstrated by Brock. From the drive-thru to the final handoff, he operated with precision, urgency, and genuine hospitality. He streamlined and organized our order, handled payment efficiently, delivered our food promptly, and never missed a moment to smile, thank us for our business, and ensure every detail—right down to condiments—was exactly right. Everything felt seamless, intentional, and customer-focused. This was one of the most impressive service experiences I’ve had anywhere. Brock deserves recognition, and if leadership is paying attention, you have a future leader at this location—someone operating with a high level of integrity and pride in their work.   I come to this Whataburger often this morning I do a drive-thru order and pick it up. I asked for extra syrup extra utensils and an extra plate for the pancakes and good thing I asked for it because I never got an original syrup or an original set of utensils I guess I was supposed to eat this with my hands? On top of that I always order a beverage with no ice this one had ice they immediately fixed it. I get all my stuff together finally and drive away that's what I noticed I have no utensils no extra syrup and missing items from my bag so I swing back around get all that taken care of and I'm on my Merry Little way now the thing that I don't understand it is 6:30 in the morning and I am the only customer inside or outside the building. Get it together Whataburger you're slipping this is not the first time I've had to deal with items missing or just sloppy work on your half.

  Ordered ahead of time after a 12 hour shift at the hospital. got a patty melt with mayo, ketchup, lettuce and bacon. or so i thought. Once i returned home, I find a burnt bun with no cheese, a pound of lettuce, tomatoes and Spicy ketchup. like...what..? why even take my order? this is the second time i've ordered a burger here and it is a completely random order i end up getting. I'm not sure how thats even possible. Thanks for wasting my time and money Whataburger and not offering a refund because I had no receipt. (I was not offered a receipt at time of pick up) EXTREMELY Disappointed. Have fun ripping off other people 👍
