I order on the app, largely due to my autism, as I find looking at a drive thru menu a little overwhelming, so when I ordered sonic on a whim, I didn’t expect any social interaction beyond a friendly exchange of “here is my order number” and “have a good night”. So I was surprised to find that the assistant manager, Jayden, had come out to my car letting me know that the ingredients I had ordered in my drink were sold out for the night, and that she would be willing to make me anything else I wanted. Since they had so many options to choose, I defaulted to “just make me something you would like”. And my drink did not disappoint. Since then, I have come back several times and have found that Sonic’s staff is super friendly, very attentive and willing to give just a little bit extra in order to make their patrons have a pleasant experience. The food isn’t amazing, but it’s bar hop style fast food, not Michelin star haute cuisine, so temper your expectations there, but the service and overall experience for me make this a place I enjoy coming back to. Thank you to Jayden, Chance and the rest of the sonic staff for always serving me with a smile and a great attitude. Also, try the sprite with blackberry and peach together, then thank me later!
