  I'm not sure where these reviews are coming from but rating the food a 4 star is a big stretch. I love Greek food and was very disappointed. Two of us ordered take out, one had the Gyro and I had the chicken. Dried out Drumsticks with a few potatoes for 22.00. Threw half of it away. The worst Greek side salad I've ever had and the custard desert, don't bother. I won't be back.

  glad we found stellas. my friend is in the nursing home down the street, and was looking for something close. the owner was a one man show , we started with saganaki , (he flamed it but didn't say OPA!) my friend got a nice glass of wine and some lamb chops (his favorite) 3. they were tender and perfectly cooked. served with some delicious looking grilled vegetables and potatoes with rosemary. I got the vegetarian beans- wow they are so flavorfull and served with grilled pita, both entrees included soup and both soups were delicious, we ended with a chocolate dessert (the wrong one) so the owner brought the other one on the house, one was like a cream puff in a cup the other a slice log , crispy in the middle, my friend loved the 1st one (sweeter) I preferred the log, we found the prices overall to be reasonble. Thank- you so much to the owner for making us feel welcome. my friend gets very little joy after his life changing stroke. we really enjoyed your atmosphere as well. there is only about 12 tables in there and playing festive Greek music. being downtown people, we would have never found this place except for the fact that its close to creekside. it is now my new favorite spot and we will be back.

  I went to Stella’s last night with some friends to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has an intimate, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re dining in someone’s home. We started with the saganaki to share, which was absolutely delightful. For my entrée, I ordered the Chicken Lemonato, and it did not disappoint—the chicken was perfectly cooked, moist, and full of flavor. The lemon garlic potatoes and grilled vegetables were also expertly prepared and well-seasoned. Our waiter, who is one of the owner’s sons, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He offered great recommendations and even shared some background about the restaurant, the family, and their connection to Greece, which made the experience feel even more special. To finish the meal, three of us enjoyed Greek coffee, and the owner generously surprised us with an order of galaktoboureko to share. It was rich and flavorful without being overly sweet—the perfect ending to the evening. Overall, the service was outstanding, the food was exceptional, and the warm, intimate ambiance made it a memorable celebration. We will definitely be back soon!
