The calamari was fishy (like I’ve never experienced anywhere before), and the rigatoni with vodka sauce was a heap of flavorless gluey pasta with huge chunks of crunchy garlic in it. They clearly didn’t cook the pasta in salted water, they didn’t sautee the sausage with the sauce because you couldn’t even taste the sausage, there was no hint of tomato or vodka at all, and I dont know what they used to thicken the sauce but it didn’t taste like fresh cream - more like a roux. I ate three bites and was over it. It’s too bad because it’s not a difficult dish to make and the atmosphere of the restaurant suggested a finer dining experience. Our waiter was friendly but was working too many tables so my guests felt service was slow (I was fine with it). Unfortunately, because of the food, I would not go back.

This waitor, who was a heavy-set red haired guy with a beard kept on charging as fast as he could over and over and over again about an inch from behind me the entire time Im trying to eat at the bar. When I get up and use the rest room, this same waitor charges right at me and spins about an inch from me as hard as he can, completely startling me. This was obvious an attempt to disturb me and is part of the pattern of "over stimulated waitors" in Lakewood Ranch restaurants who disturb their clients. I also had to wear hearing protection because it was so loud. The entire meal consisted of repeatedly basically being assualted from behind over and over and over while trying to eat my meal. Will not return under any circumstances!
