  Service was terrible.. 2 of our party of 6 got steaks. Asked for steak knives. Never got them! One steak was way over cooked. Waiter never came by to ask how everything was, otherwise I would have sent it back. Cocktails were prepared poorly. Asked for a refill and it took over 20 minutes to get. I am one to leave a very generous gratuity. Especially on Easter. Not this time!! Won’t be back there anytime soon, nor will I recommend to anyone I know.

  First time visitors yesterday. We went with a group of friends. The food was lackluster and overpriced. The breadsticks served to everyone were flavorless. My seafood pasta dish was supposed to be spicy, but wasn’t at all. Service was really lacking. We had to ask for refills as our waitress was not attentive at all. If the restaurant had been really busy, I would have definitely been understanding about that, but they weren’t. Which should have told us something when we arrived around 6:30 and the restaurant had plenty of open seating. Very disappointing. Would definitely not go back.

  Arrived for Easter brunch. No prime rib. Only ham. They did have a omelet station but nonething that would warrant an 80.00 per person price. The food and selection thereof was mediocre at best. Micheal's on East would have been a better choice from my experience. My favorite place for a brunch buffet thus far is Banyan House in Wellen Park for specialty brunch combos I have only seen there. Not the average powdered eggs, sausage and bacon buffet. They had prime rib, steak and many other original breakfast recipes. Also included at Banyan House is unlimited bloody Mary's or mimosas with the brunch buffet. They are located in Wellen Park and well worth the drive. Marina Jack's needs to go to Banyan House and get some ideas on thier next Easter brunch. May want to add in unlimited mimosas and bloody Mary's for 80 a head. I am sure Marina Jacks regular restaurant menu is good but the Easter brunch in my opinion was fair. The best thing I did have there was the coffee. In closing, just so you know gratuity is automatically included at 20%. I am okay with that. However, we were going to leave a cash tip. They do allow for further tipping when they give you your check back. I did not tip beyond the 20% they automatically included. For 3 people for Easter brunch was 304.00 and some change.   I requested details for a bridal shower scheduled for May 31st, but the phone call today with the party coordinator was so unprofessional. Her demeanor left much to be desired. She was ill-prepared to address basic questions and interrupted me multiple times, ultimately leading to the call's termination. Prior to ending the call, I reminded her that her responsibility as a service provider is to bring service to the restaurant. The level of incompetence displayed, particularly regarding cake handling, was striking. As word of mouth is everything in business, I intend to share my disappointing experience with the "I Love Sarasota" community on Facebook, given the horrible treatment I received, which turned a special moment for my daughter into a distressing experience.

From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making our night special. His knowledge of the seafood menu was next-level—he guided us through the selections with confidence and made recommendations that were absolutely perfect. What really stood out was how effortless he made everything feel. Every detail was handled with care, and he created an experience that felt personal, not just professional. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Diego didn’t just serve dinner—he elevated our entire evening. Honestly, promote this man to boss already. 🌟
