  If you don’t stop at O’Leary‘s, when you come to visit Sarasota, you’re definitely missing out! As a long time Sarasota resident and now a snowbird, I always enjoy coming back and sitting out by the bayfront and enjoying some cold beverages… It’s a great place for the kids to run around and they typically have live music in the afternoons and early evenings. Definitely a non-negotiable when we are in town… We are hitting O’Leary‘s and enjoying being on the bayfront!

  Food here was weak. Better to come here for a drink and enjoy the Bayside seating. Nachos were like dripping a jar of bland corporate queso on some tortilla chips. Counter service for ordering wasn't terribly friendly or helpful.

  If you like to hang out, chill, have good food, drinks and music then you gotta go here. Simple process - order food when you arrive at the counter, get a buzzer and drink, find a picnic table by the water and wait for the buzzer to buzz. The food is excellent. I had the coconut shrimp. It might sound touristy, but they were perfect. You get 8, they are plump juicy and the dipping sauce is spot on. I also had the soft cell crab sandwich. Good size crab. Cooked perfectly. They had a band that night. The crowd was ready to dance, have fun, without getting rowdy and obnoxious. Good location, people, food and water view. Give it a try.

  We absolutely love this place as it is a great place to hang out near the water, picnic tables and toes in the sand. The only negative feedback is that you have to stand in line to get your drinks and food, and on a busy day the lines can be long. You get a buzzer and pick up your food at a counter when it's ready. We were there on a Saturday late day and ordered the calamari app. For $17.50 or $17.95 or whatever it was, it was so small and sooooo greasy. Not worth it at all. See the pic below. This is without even taking one piece out of the order. The entertainment that night, Bri Rivera, was outstanding! We'll definitely be back again and again, just won't ever be ordering fried stuff again:)

  This is the place to be Friday nights!!! Very casual and spacious Tiki bar outside with flame heaters and another one inside plus grill with delicious appetizers, bites and entrees, cocktails and the most amazing reggae and caribbean vibe from 6-10 PM Delicious food, great prices, beautiful Bayfront Park in Sarasota with playground, marina, water fountain, swings under cypress , two hour bay cruises at the park, beautiful birds, plenty of benches, illuminated splash pad, restrooms close at midnight. Dog friendly, paved trails, free parking, free music and dancing and lots of free fun!!!! I recommend the blackened mahi sandwich and your favorite cocktail!!!
