- MSMichael Spitale1 day ago3.020oz Bone in prime ribeye should never be tough like this one was. I'm thinking it wasn't even choice. My wife took me for my birthday and we were both very disappointed. Service was good very pleasant servers and reception but meal was a huge letdown for $320+.

He answered every question I asked, and he never left us waiting for a long period of time. He was very polite and had lots of patience with us. We most definitely will be returning soon.

If you want a great atmosphere to fit an intimate fine dining, DO NOT go to Flemings at UTC Sarasota. Go to Ruth Chris instead.

While the newer UTC location is certainly modern, we much prefer the "old school" ambiance and timeless feel of this original Sarasota staple. A major highlight of our evening was speaking with Marc, the manager. He is incredibly personable and professional; it is clear that he is a massive asset to the team here. His attention to detail and genuine interest in the guest experience really elevates the entire visit. On the food front, the steaks were executed perfectly as expected. However, our one consistent critique is the side dishes. We truly wish they offered a better selection of à la carte vegetables. While the current options are fine, a more diverse or elevated vegetable program would really round out the menu.
