  Love the fact the owners understand the NEED for their pizza in the area! Drove 45 minutes to get mine! Took one home to freeze for future midnight cravings! Thanks from Treasure island

  I’ve never seen a pizza look so beautiful and just taste like absolutely nothing. My first time trying Donato’s and I’m so upset I didn’t save money and get Domino’s. I don’t understand why this is so expensive for fast food pizza. The pizza looks just like the glamour shots, really impressive. The ingredients feel like quality ingredients. The taste…just completely bland. All you get is salt. I’m actually baffled by the taste. I have never tasted a pizza with absolutely no flavor before. The dough does not taste like dough, but has a slight crisp. The sauce does not taste like sauce but has a lot on it. The cheese has no cheesy flavor, but feels like cheese. The pepperoni was the most disappointing part of the pizza. It looks amazing, there’s so much of it, and it feels like better quality than other chains, but again HAS NO FLAVOR. How?? How can you create a pizza that doesn’t taste either good or bad. I’m so confused. It’s just so not worth the calories or the exorbitant price. On top of that, apparently they give their deliveries to DoorDash drivers that can’t see the delivery instructions and have no bags to keep the pizza hot. Waste of another $10 there. Domino’s wins in every way…price, delivery, freshness, and speed. What a waste of money this was. Why does this pizza get good reviews? Go find flavor, people. When Domino’s makes you look bad, you’re missing the boat.

  Owner is extremely nice! Food is always perfectly cooked. We come here when we want a good meal because is consistently great!

  There is no pizza in SW Florida that compete with my Hometown Donatos and I will die on that hill. Pepperoni pizza, Founders favorite and Mariachi Beef are goated. Hawaiian is also superior to all competitors. Bring Donatos to Punta Gorda so we don't have to travel 2 hours round trip for Pizza please. We need it here!!!!
