  Great Mexican food that goes beyond the basics. The tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the salsas had real depth. Good margaritas too. Casual, unpretentious, and consistent. Worth a visit.

  Showed up for our 6:30pm anniversary dinner reservation and the restaurant was CLOSED. Locked up, no one inside, no sign, no explanation, no call/email. Really threw a wrench in the evening. Edit: revising from 1 to 3 stars for now. We received a personal call from the General Manager Natalia apologizing for having to close for an emergency and not communicating the change to our reservation. Was offered complimentary meals when we are able to return. Will update review again in the future once we get the full experience. Thank you, Natalia.

  Quite disappointing. The prices are very high for what you get, and the quality doesn’t match. The food lacks flavor overall and is rather bland. Expected much better considering the cost.

  Great food, wonderful waiter, Batty, and great atmosphere in a fun walkable area. Portains were small but filling, and very good. House made tortillas were definitely stand out! All gluten free menu made a family with celiacs disease have a wonderful experience!

  A friend and I dined at this restaurant last night. I chose it because I knew it had a lot of gluten-free options. What I did not realize is that the entire menu is 100% gluten-free! My friend has celiacs and this was such a relief to be able to pick from an entire menu without having to overthink anything. We started with the guacamole, which was served with mini warm corn tortillas, and it was delicious! For our entrée, we shared the steak and the elote corn. It was more than enough for two and we even took home some leftovers. Both were excellent! Our server was a man named Battie and he was great and full of suggestions for both food and drink and his recommendations were spot on! While the restaurant is not huge, there was plenty of seating both inside and outside. We got there around 5:30 and they were plenty of tables but by 6:30 the place was packed! This is truly a welcome addition to the Sarasota food scene!
