  My new go to for seafood in the area. I’ve been coming down here from Georgia multiple times a year for the past 3 years and tried just about everything. Nothing beats simple approaches to fresh seafood straight from mom and pop boats. Add to that, all of the Michigan favorites from my childhood like Walleye, Yellow Perch and even Smelt!!! At most seafood restaurants the fries are an after thought, but these house steak fries are as much a highlight as anything else on the menu.

  Food was cold. Lobster was overcooked and cold. The chicken tasted like different fishes. The steak fries were old and disgusting. The servers were great though, really sweet girl.

  The seafood platter was decent. The fish was good. The crab cakes were OK. Hush puppies weren't bad. The jumbo shrimp were not jumbo, but the manager recognized that and offered additional shrimp. Service was great.

  Overall great. We went here for my daughter’s birthday. They don’t do anything for birthdays, but we still had a nice time. Our server was kind and on top of things. The only downside was that the lobster seemed a little overcooked.

  I do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered haddock and waitress said we’re out of it and than named 3 other fish they were out of, at which point I asked what fish do you have. The answer I don’t know you will have to ask me. At this point I should have left but thought I’d try since I was hungry. I had noticed that there was scrod on the menu so I ask if they had it,and was told yes. So I ordered it. A couple minutes later the waitress returned and said they just got there delivery and which meant they had haddock so I asked can I change my order and was told yes but it will take some time since they have to prep it. I said fine expecting to wait a while but to my surprise a couple minutes later I was served. Great right, wrong I tasted it and it was not haddock but the scrod. I called the waitress back and told her it was not haddock, so she left when she returned I was informed that it was haddock. I know the difference, she did say that could she get me something else since I was not satisfied, I was completely fed up at this point and told her I will just finish. She then offered desert but I declined
