Professional Failure: A Case Study in How to Lose Customers
"As a business owner who has managed a million-dollar company and spent 30 years in the industry, I look at operations from a professional lens. This Wendy’s on 34th Street is a textbook example of poor management and a lack of business sense.
The inconsistency here is staggering. While the Frosty key tag policy is clear, successful management empowers employees to make a 'management decision' that prioritizes the customer over a promotional item. Instead, the staff here chooses to be difficult, showing zero regard for customer retention or service standards.
When a store is already struggling with a 3-star rating and visible cleanliness issues, you cannot afford to alienate customers over a Frosty. It’s clear there is no professional culture or oversight at this location. If you value your time and expect a basic level of competency, keep driving. This establishment is being driven into the ground by short-sighted management.

Service was rude and unacceptable, I ordered and paid for multiple frosties and cookies and after being told it was unavailable I requested a refund and was treated with unneeded attitude and was shouted at by the manager for no reason.

Worst Wendy's experience ive ever had, I came in after order take out 25mins earlier a s stood at the counter. 4 people working in the front and at the window and for 15mins no one spoke to me, so when I finally spoke up and said I was there for a pick up order I was told to hush and wait...after waiting another 5mins and watching 3 people come in and order and leave with their food she finally asked me again what I needed. When I told her I was there for a pick up order (the second time) she was then frustrated with me that I didn't interrupt her more. It took me 40mins to get 2 burgers and fries, even after placing an order 20mins prior to showing up! Everyone was rude or just didn't speak. No "I'll be right with you" no just a minute I'll be with you shorty" Nothing at all. Then to top it off the order wasn't even correct....things missing or not prepared correct
