We visited Sunset grill this past Saturday night looking for dinner , drinks and fun . It was extremely busy but while we waited for a table we visited their outside bar for some drinks. The bartenders were on point and addressed us right away which is hard to come by at a busy bar sometimes . Our table was then ready and our server Dylan was also amazing . We could tell he was very busy but he still gave us the best service . His food suggestions were helpful and so delicious and he was by far the most attentive server I’ve had in a long time . The live band was playing Great music and we ended the night with some dancing . Well done Sunset Grill . We had such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to visit again .

We come here pretty often since it’s close to home, whether it’s just for drinks and appetizers or a full family meal. The food is consistently good and the atmosphere is always enjoyable, which keeps us coming back.
That said, the service has never really matched the rest of the experience. It’s not terrible, just consistently underwhelming, definitely lacking that friendly, attentive customer service that makes a place stand out. We’ve never made a fuss about it since we visit so often for the convenience, but it’s something we’ve noticed every time.
We’ll likely keep coming back because of the location, food, and overall vibe, but it would make a big difference if the service improved. A more welcoming and attentive staff would really take this place to the next level.

Some places try too hard. This one doesn’t have to.
From the moment you sit down, the view speaks for itself, and the food does the rest.
We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was excellent. My plate, the salmon with vegetables and risotto, was truly outstanding. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and well balanced. The sauce brought everything together and made every bite worth it.
The rest of the table had the same experience. Kids were happy. My husband was happy. No complaints at all.
The atmosphere makes it even better. The beach, the breeze, and the sunlight create a calm and enjoyable space where you can truly relax.
Now, being honest, there was one small disappointment.
The blue cheese sauce did not meet expectations. It felt watered down, more like mayo than a true blue cheese dressing. It did not match the quality of the rest of the food.
That said, everything else was so good that it did not take away from the overall experience.
We are already planning to come back, this time to celebrate graduations. That says everything. Great food, beautiful view, and a perfect place to enjoy with family. Improving the blue cheese would make it even better, but it is not enough to change how good everything else was.
My wife made reservations for Monday, 6:30 PM I dropped them off at the door and parked the car. They were already seated. It was busy as usual. Very popular restaurant. As I sat down, a very nice server, April, already had drinks for us, told us the specials, and gave us some time to look over the menu. I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Pasta, wife ordered half a Rack of Ribs and Shrimp, our friend ordered the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, April said it was one of her favorites. The meal was served quite quickly and looked great. My friend doesn't like Asparagus, I said great I'll take them they were perfect. My blackened shrimp were great, 12 large shrimp were delicious. The ribs and shrimp were good, and the bacon wrapped meatloaf looked great. Everything was very tasty. I think next time I'll get the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf. The beach setting is wonderful. Thanks April "her family calls her Ape" everything was excellent.

Good evening, everyone I am sharing this for anyone that would actually like to know what the real experience of this restaurant is. It was our first time eating there, and it will be our last we were invited by some of my wife's friends. From work me, my wife, my son and nephew, all we're expecting a decent evening. Especially after seeing the reviews on this place. So we decided to go I already knew I was going to spend a little bit of money, but that was fine to start the night off. Our waiter, it took roughly 30 minutes to find his way to our table to get our drink orders. Then, he forgot mine whatever I don't care after that, we placed our appetizers that took another 30 minutes. The entire time we did not see our waiter. So we could place our food orders after the appetizers came. He came back. Okay, we play start orders. I got the mango hub and arrow snapper. My wife got the shrimp Alfredo. My son got the lobster, grilled cheese and my nephew got the same thing as me boy in everyone's food came out both of the snappers where ice cold but considering you have to pay for parking, and it is almost twelve dollars.for 2 hours that was not about to wait another hour. For our food to come back so I told him just eat it. It was not happy about it. The fish was cold and dry. Because for some reason, they leave the skin on the snapper. So you never flip it. So it has to cook from one side and it dries the meat. Now we are moving on to the fact that everyone else has gotten their drinks refilled several times except for me which I really don't care once again. I'm not there for me. I'm there for them until the bill comes out. As I'm looking over the bill. Yeah, everything stupidly expensive there. But when I got down to the park, where added gratuity of 20% it is mandatory. I got pretty pissed off see. I had planned on leaving this young man, 50 bucks. The service wasn't garbage, but it wasn't great either.
And now the funny thing is, he said it's required for everyone that is management rules. So he only got $38. Because that's what the gratuity came to. He cost himself money whether he lied to my face or his management is screwing him over. Just keep in mind no matter what you'll be paying a tip that you didn't plan on another member of our party. I had already paid and she didn't notice it. And he didn't mention it, and she left him a $40 tip on top of the 20% gratuity that they don't tell you about. Unless you notice it, my total bill for 4 people came to $284 we could have went to so many other places and spent that much got much better service. And had much better food i am really disappointed in this place now. The funny thing is, this place has been there for years. One of my favorite things about it was the fact that it had the dock stretching out. Well, that's closed down now. It's gated off for residents, only. Don't waste your money here. People. And if you want some good fish go to the fish house on shellpoint. It might look a little run down But the food there is great, and the people actually show respect i really wish I had just taken my family there. Longhorn steakhouse for the price I paid i guarantee you, they would have got a $100 tip. They always do for me because the service there is worth it accompanied by the food
