  I had the excellent half rack and my friend went for the clams. Both of us were very pleased.

  The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place looks clean. 4 of us went for seafood and it was not that great unfortunately. The clams were chewy and the scallops were small and a bit slimy under the coating. I had 2 pieces of haddock that were good but tiny. The onion rings were OK but the fries were the coated ones and were very greasy. The side of coleslaw was in a tiny cup, probably 2 tablespoons worth and had no flavor. For the price I would have expected better quality and to be taking home leftovers but I did not. If I am out that way again I may try something other than the seafood.

  This place served the best roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had—tender, flavorful, and perfectly made every time. I’ve been going here regularly, and the quality and service are consistently top-notch.

  After reading reviews and following suggestion from a neighbor, we decided to celebrate my father’s birthday here. Upon entering we were informed the AC was down and that they had fans going. We choose to stay and eat after driving 30 minutes. We ordered the clam chowder as it is claimed the clams are flown in from Maine. The flavor was off. The waitress noticed the two bowls were not fully consumed and asked if we did not like the chowder. We expressed our concern that something tasted off. She couldn’t understand why. Our entrees were served and we were very shocked to see the scallops and the taste was even more disappointing. Water squirted out when bitten into. The clams did not taste fresh. The roast beef bun was flat like a pancake - flatter! We were honest with the waitress when she asked how things were. It was not easy to express how bad we thought things were. She said she comped the two bowls of clam chowder. But she hopes that we wouldn’t be one of those people who took to Google to complain without saying anything. Well we did, left our meals on the table and paid an overpriced $111.00 and went to find dinner someplace else. All the truth.
