However, if you would like clarification or a resolution on a specific discrepancy (incorrect gratuity added to check, in my case), do not expect the GM, or any staff member, to return your calls. When you reach out to corporate for further assistance, they will advise you that they cannot help, and it must be handled at the store level. They will then tell you they "have escalated your concern to the general manager and encouraged them to follow up with you" and then end all correspondence, once the general manager fails to call back.
