By far the worst falafel from Florida to Michigan! I ordered 2 falafel bowls, a kids meal with falafel and 2 drinks…all for under $40! The service was good, but 2 ladies who I asked about the kid’s menu admitted that they didn’t know what was on the menu! SMH. Then I was told that I had to pay extra for spring mix because it’s not included with the kids meal…only a selection of 3 particular items/sides are included with a protein…although the store menu states that it’s “A mini version of our build-your-own…” So a regular bowl was suggested instead. (The cashier later fixed this issue). My youngest only wanted the rice, spring mix (power greens) and falafel…which was inedible! The number of items/sides and the exact items/sides included or available with the kids meal should be stated on the menu, all staff should be aware of what they are. The falafel was mushy and undercooked…imagine a wet/raw dough feel in your mouth…which was most likely from the chickpeas being over processed to a paste instead of a more coarse texture. Plus, the flavor wasn’t palatable. The rice and lentils were good and perfectly cooked…the roasted veggies had a good flavor, but they were overcooked. Love the hummus (especially knowing that it’s made with olive oil, not canola or seed oils), tzatziki and lemon-herb tahini. The blueberry lavender drink was refreshing, not sweet. Due to the falafel being horrendous…and the only protein on the menu that most of my family eats…this was my first and last visit to CAVA.

Let me start by saying the food here is AMAZING. I fell in love with CAVA the very first time I tried it, and honestly, they’ve become my go-to over any of their competitors. I come to this location whenever I’m in the area, even though I live about 20–25 minutes away it’s that worth it. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent. This spot is almost always busy, and there’s usually a line, which says a lot. The only downside is that the staff isn’t always the friendliest. Maybe it’s because they’re constantly slammed and don’t get much downtime, but it’s definitely noticeable. Overall, I love CAVA. I just really wish they’d open another location closer to Margate, Coconut Creek, or Coral Springs so people in those areas (including me!) have another convenient option without the extra drive.

So good… when they get it right. I’m giving this location three stars because the food itself is genuinely very good, but the execution is inconsistent. I always order online and get the same bowl. When it’s made correctly and filled properly, it’s absolutely worth the price. The flavors are great, and Cava has some of the best drinks. The issue is consistency. I would say about 80% of the time, something is wrong with my order. Either ingredients are missing, something extra is added that I didn’t request, or the portion size is noticeably smaller. I’ve also had my side pita missing twice. Some days the bowl is full, other days it feels barely filled, which makes it feel overpriced. Since this location is new to South Florida and always seems fully staffed, it doesn’t appear to be a staffing shortage issue. It feels more like a training or management issue with online orders. Most of the time, online orders are kept behind the counter instead of on the pickup shelves (which is fine), but there isn’t always someone available to quickly assist, so you end up waiting. The restaurant is always packed (understandably, since it’s currently the only Broward location), but there are usually outdoor seating options available. I keep coming back because the food is genuinely good, I just wish the accuracy and portion sizes were more consistent.

I've been to Cava's all over the country. This one is on par with the food. It was as good as always. But this location was the absolute slowest and most disorganized I have ever seen. They were frustratingly slow. Normally, a line of 20 people would go through pretty quickly. Not this place. Took a out 20 to 30 minutes to get through the line. They would run out of a meat and just stop the entire line and stand around until the meat came back. It took about 10 minutes from the time I started my greens and grain order until I paid. It should not be like this! Management, or you read this, please retrain.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at CAVA. I paid nearly $40 for a bowl and received what looks like scraps at the bottom of the container. The portion size was completely unacceptable for the price. The bowl was barely filled, it was no lettuce and rice, and the protein and toppings were minimal at best. The photos speak for themselves this does not reflect the quality or value CAVA promotes. When customers are paying premium prices, we expect premium portions and consistency. Instead, I felt shorted and honestly taken advantage of. For $40, I should not be staring at the bottom of my bowl after a few bites. Very disappointing experience and not worth the money.
