I’ve had consistently frustrating experiences at this location. They are often out of basic ingredients, and more often than not, my bowls are missing items without any notice. The staff frequently come across as annoyed, which makes the overall experience even worse.
Mobile order wait times are also extremely long, and the entire operation feels very disorganized. It honestly seems like there’s a lack of proper training across the board.
Overall, the customer service here is very poor and definitely needs improvement.
I love to travel and I love to try new foods and restaurants. On a trip to Arkansas, a friend introduced me to Cava and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that upon my return to Florida, I decided to see if there was one in my area and discovered this particular location.
Now, one of the things I’ve discovered in my travels, is that when it comes to food, franchise does not necessarily equal consistency. So even though I found a Cava nearby, I wasn’t in a hurry to try it.
Yesterday, I was working 8 mins from this location (said G-Maps) and even though I am rarely hungry at ‘lunchtime’, yesterday was an exception. As an amateur foodie, if I’m going to eat out, I like to enjoy what I eat so I decided to finally give Cava a try.
It was worth it! I had a build your own Pita with Harissa Chicken, Harissa and Crazy Feta sauce, pickles, something crunchy (can’t remember) and a balsamic sauce. Sooooo good. The pita was fresh and soft, the something crunchy was the right kind of crunchy, adding a nice texture and EVERYTHING was flavorful. The temperature of the meat was great (my philosophy is, if it’s meant to be hot it should be hot), it didn’t have that sitting in a warmer, dried out kinda hot. Instead, it was more like just off the grill, ready to eat hot and the spice level even with added harissa sauce, was just right. All the flavors complemented each other and made for a really tasty lunch. I have to mention that even the wrapper for the pita does its job. It doesn’t fall apart when the sauce hits it and if you hold it correctly, you don’t have to worry about making a mess when eating on the run.
The line moved at a great pace, not too hurried for someone who might not know exactly what they want, but fast enough not to annoy the next person in line. Part of the reason is, the willingness of the line staff to recommend choices without making you feel like they are just moving you along. If that’s a deliberate strategy then Kudos to Cava’s training department, if not, then it should be and this team should be chosen to model it for the rest of the franchise.
Everyone was friendly and the place was super clean. Sometimes in restaurants of this model, moving fast can mean food all over the counter, at this location that was not the case. Each person in service line made sure the next person knew what was being ordered and to whom the order belonged so there was no confusion or mix-ups, which can happen when moving quickly.
I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because I don’t think I was there long enough to gauge that completely, but for the short time I was there it was good.
This Cava will be one of my go-to spots whenever I’m working in the area. Give it a try, as I said before, It’s worth it!!

Service is super slow with lot of not so productive people employees. Employees weren’t friendly or hospitable. They were out of sweet potatoes and several sauces and toppings. I don’t plan on returning to this location. It’s also not very sanitary — lots of dust buildup in the lobby ceiling areas, if I as a customer can see what you’re not cleaning makes me wonder how clean the areas that I can’t see. Asked the cashier to refill the ice for the drink machine and when the gentleman came out he sat the ice bucket directly on the floor gross!!

This location is ALWAYS backed up. Like you have to expect a 45+ minute wait every single time, which basically takes up my whole lunch break.
The staff? Honestly, they always seem miserable. It really gives “I don’t want to be here,” and it shows. They aggressively throw food into the bowls, and the second you ask for extra anything, you can feel the attitude.
I hate coming here. I only do because I like the food style and it’s supposed to be cleaner/fresher — but the experience completely ruins it. Standing around for most of my lunch just waiting, just to get treated like that… yeah, no.
At this point, Chipotle is 100x better just off the experience alone.

I’m a huge fan of Cava and eat at various locations across several states, but this specific branch is in desperate need of a General Manager in disguise. The lack of professionalism during a peak rush was insane
I arrived at 5:59 PM and didn’t leave until 6:44 PM. A 45 minute wait for a cava bowl is unacceptable, especially when the delay is caused by staff moving alarmingly slow and prioritizing socializing over service.
The Young man with dreads took nearly 2 minutes just to cut a single avocado, while another the girl at the front of the line rolled her eyes at customers and refused to offer even a basic level of courtesy. While the woman at the register was friendly, she repeatedly walked away from her station during the rush to chat with other staff and make hand-heart gestures, all while she was supposed to be grabbing my pita chips and finishing my order. The only person who appeared to be working with any sense of urgency or competence was the gentleman on the grill. The rest of the team acted as if they didn't want to be there, moving with zero hustle while the line backed up. I absolutely loveeeeee this brand, but the management at this location needs to step in immediately to address the staffing and productivity issues. I won’t be back to this specific spot until changes are made.
