  Our visit to Brio today was unlike any other I've had in the past. My wife and I were admittedly a little hesitant to come here since in previous visits at varying locations there would always be an issue, either with takeout, wait times, or service. This visit changed all that. Starting from the beginning, we noticed it was pretty busy. It was after all Easter Sunday and a little early in the afternoon. Some walk-ins were being told the wait could potentially be around 40-plus minutes. Luckily, we had a reservation and the hostess let us know it should be around 5-10 minutes for our table (which was accurate) There were two very polite hostesses at the door, and a manager with long hair in a pony-tail and glasses, whose name escapes me. He was ensuring people were getting acknowledged and taken in. Our server, Rashawn, greeted us within a minute of being sat and let me tell you, he is an exceptional server! From the start, he was kind and respectful to my family. Sir and madam go a long way, and I was very appreciative of being acknowledged as such. But for me, it was a lot of little things that made me really enjoy his service. For one, it was his awareness. I ordered my toddler son a cacio-pepe and he wanted to make sure he'd be okay with that since it's a pasta that's typically very peppery. I was aware, and I ordered it but it was nice to see that he had considered that. Also, after ordering my entree I wanted to add a side of asparagus, which he pointed out already came with my meal, so rather than doubling up I changed it to a broccolini instead. A few minutes later, after my son had been playing with the kids menu and some crayons, Rashawn noticed some crayons had fallen to the floor and as I was going to retrieve them he offered to get them himself so I wouldn't get dirty. And instead of giving me those crayons, he went to get me new ones instead so my son wouldn't be playing with ones that were on the floor. Do you understand how considerate that is? I was floored by that point. And credit to the restaurant overall as well. I am actually a server myself, so I pay attention to details everywhere I go to eat because hospitality is my livelihood. The operation here was ON POINT. Managers both at the front helping staff and guests get sat, and present at the expo line as well praising everyone for their low ticket times and managing orders efficiently. Our drinks came out fast, our courses were delivered how we wanted, and the food temperature on my steak was excellent, and my wife loved her ala vodka pasta. This was the absolute best visit I've ever had to a Brio, and everything today undoubtably contended with other higher priced, bougier restaurants we've frequented in the past. The effort I witnessed everyone put on today, especially from Rashawn, will have me and my family come back sooner and more often and is worthy of the highest praise from whomever runs this company! Thank you!

  had such a wonderful experience at Brio. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. Halle, our server, was truly a delight. so kind, attentive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire meal. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, and it really elevated the whole dining experience. definitely recommend coming to plantation!!

  I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brio Italian Grille, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The food came out hot and absolutely delicious—every dish was flavorful and prepared to perfection. What truly made the visit special was Chef Daren, who took the time to walk around and personally greet guests. That level of attention and care really stood out and added a personal touch that you don’t always find. The customer service overall was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. Combined with the quality of the food, it made for a great dining experience. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a memorable meal and top-notch service.

  Update: it’s been over 24hours after I submitted the complaint on the website and no one has reached out yet. As a matter of fact, I mentioned in my original review below that I had already sent them a complaint through the website… what a waste of time and money. Really disappointing experience. Service was extremely slow, inattentive, and unprofessional from start to finish. What should have been a simple birthday lunch turned into a 2 hour frustrating ordeal, including long waits just to order, cold food, and feeling completely overlooked. I’ve had a much better experience at their Pembroke Pines location, so this was surprising. I already submitted a formal complaint and am now waiting to see if they even acknowledge it.

  We came in for lunch and only ordered a few plates, but the experience we received felt like a full five-star dining event. From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. Our server didn’t miss a beat attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. Every detail was handled with care and precision. What truly set this visit apart was being personally greeted by Chef Darren. That level of presence, leadership, and pride is rare, and it showed in every single dish that came out. Even with a simple lunch order, the food was executed at an elite level fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell this kitchen is being led with intention. There’s consistency, discipline, and a clear standard of excellence that goes far beyond what you expect. This isn’t just someone running a kitchen this is someone leading it. Brio corporate needs to take a serious look at Chef Darren. Talent, professionalism, and leadership like this deserve recognition at the highest level. This is the kind of person who should be training others, setting standards, and helping elevate the entire brand.
