Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers praised the friendly and professional staff, highlighting positive interactions with management and employees.

The employees here are super kind and the food is really good. It's in its own category. It's hard to believe this is fast food

I ordered a "bacon" & cheese Whataburger (((drive thru order)))... when I arrived home, there was NO "bacon" on {the #5} "bacon" & cheese Whataburger...
TIME, GAS, ENERGY, MONEY, "wasted".

The food is what you’d expect from a drive through burger joint. The honey butter chicken biscuit is a delish breakfast choice.

I tried this location because it's my first time I've ever been to one after hearing so much about them. The service went superb and the cashier had a lovely voice over the intercom. The food only disappointed me because I've heard such praise from others and it ultimately ended up being rather... meh. It's a slight step above your run-of-the-mill fast food choices, but the taste and quality was just that of a slightly elevated McDonalds. I will admit that this does feel like it'd be a perfect hangover meal.

I usually enjoy Whataburger, but this visit was very disappointing. My order was completely wrong — I asked for no raw onions and for them to be grilled instead, but my burger came with a large pile of raw onions. The drink size I received was also incorrect, and they didn’t include the spicy ketchup I specifically requested.
When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they seemed annoyed and acted like fixing the issue was a hassle. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect good customer service and attention to detail. I really hope management can work on improving communication and customer care at this location.
