My wife and I have been to many steakhouses in our travels as well as in Omaha where we moved from.
I think this is perhaps the best overall experience we have ever had.
It was all choreographed by Mark, our waiter, he was absolutely excellent!
The food was great as well. The calamari was the best we've ever had and my wife's fillet and my New York were also excellent.
Thanks!
And we will be back.

Came in for dinner with two friends for a Friday 6:15pm reservation and an 8:00pm show with roughly a 5 min walk from the restaurant to the show. Drinks from the bar came out pretty quick, ordering food was much longer. Our server was kind but either overwhelmed with big parties or not experienced. We all ordered at the same time nothing too crazy. Steak frites was good tasting but nothing on the plate was warm. Tried the beer bacon Mac and cheese - again, great taste - but nothing even warm (and served in a skillet!). Requested dessert menus at 7:15 thinking we had plenty of time, again too long to response and had to grab a manager just to order dessert. Requested at dessert to go ahead and get the checks so we could get moving. Scarfed down dessert, paid, and walked out at 7:55pm. Not super great service and this was my second visit and second lack luster experience. Much better service and steaks at Jackson’s around the corner.

Booked my wedding in november of 2024 for an October 2025 wedding with Lisa . I reached out sometime in June to see what needed to be done as we were getting closer and was notified Lisa retired…. I was then transferred to Paula. From the beginning there were so many inconsistencies, broken promises, and disorganization. Paula would have me waiting for over 30 mins every meeting. Less than 24 hours to my wedding as im on the way to my rehearsal for church I was notified I wouldnt be getting a room that I was supposed to have for the wedding. Honestly the experience was terrible and basically ruined a lot of my excitement for my WEDDING day! This was a WEDDING. The way things were handled were so unprofessional. Never book a wedding here unless you want a mess.

Had my daughter's wedding there and it was a fiasco from the beginning. Too much to write in a review but suffice it to say that I was not pleased with their Event Coordinator Paula and in extension the Managing Director Buck Mitchell who did not have the decency to respond to my email. We spent a lot of money for an over inflated Bar Bill and terrible service/treatment by this Paula. The one star is for Will who tried to make things better but that shipped sailed... Go somewhere else.

The District is a regular go-to for us for steaks and a nice night out. Start upstairs in the lounge, check for the times of the live background music, have a few drinks before your reservation. The dining experience is very nice, and the food is really well done. Everything is great - you can't go wrong (unless of course you order your steak well done! 😂) Our service has always been top notch - they work to make your experience the best. Lots of gluten-free options if that's something you look for.
