  This Panera Bread location at 9 mile Rd/University is hands down The BEST in Pensacola/Pace/Gulf Breeze area. The GM and his whole staff is always super friendly and we never have to wait and this location is busy right at UWF, WF Hospital and Publix/Target/Chick Filet A and more. The staff is treating us always like a family member and gretting us with a big smile und providing us with excellence customer service. The bathrooms are always clean as well the outside seating and parking area. Well done everyone, you are all Rockerstars 👍😎

  Extremely terrible consumer experience! The store manager, Martin, actually called a member's private phone to conduct verbal harassment and accusations. This store completely ignores company policy and arbitrarily changed the rules (changing "ordering once every 2 hours" to "picking up once every 2 hours"), and even refused to deliver pre-orders that complied with regulations. Furthermore, regarding the milk-adding service included in the policy, they privately charged it as "kids milk," which is extremely dishonest behavior. Most seriously, the store manager used member data to privately call a customer to threaten and argue, which completely violates personal privacy. It has been confirmed with customer service that official complaints only go through email, so this branch's behavior is clearly a form of "vigilante" treatment. I strongly recommend avoiding this store; the quality of management is worrying!

  On January 19th, 2026 at about noon, I and my wife went to the Panera Bread located at 9239 University Pkwy in Pensacola (Café# 601511). My wife ordered a coffee with her meal, but the stainless steel milk container by the coffee station was empty. She sat down while I tried to get her some milk for her coffee. I kindly asked for more milk from the same cashier who had taken our order, but even though acknowledged what I said, she did nothing while she continued waiting on other customers. I stood there for a few minutes waiting for nothing. So, I went to ask the man working behind the service counter in the kitchen for some milk, and he told a female employee to refill the milk container. She didn't. Five minutes later I had to go ask the man again. He repeated himself that the woman was going to get the milk, but in frustration I told him that she still hadn't done anything. So finally after 10 minutes he had to go get the milk himself for my wife. This is really bad service! They need better management. By the time I was able to sit down and eat my food got cold. This was our first time visiting this location.

  Steak Asiago bagel sandwich was on point! So delicious!!! 🤤 It was worth the extra drive from the airport for the bagel since they were out at the one closer to the airport. Also, the staff here is super friendly and nice! My order was hot and ready on time!! Highly recommended!! 😊

  GrubHub does not have Panera's menu offerings correct on their App. So I called Panera in advance when placing my order. Lisa assured me, my order would be right regardless. $50+ for an order that was incorrect, and I am disappointed with both GrubHub and Panera. Do NOT make promises you cannot fulfill.
