We ordered the Johnny’s deluxe pizza and a large Greek salad. The salad was bigger than we could eat. The pizza was delicious and the real test for us as to how good the pizza REALLY is, is how the crust is the next day. Some places around here, the crust is so tough and rubbery the next day. Johnny’s crust was just as deliciously tender the next day as it was the evening before. Thank you for giving us a great pizza place on Nine Mile. I can’t wait to try some more of your menu.

by far the best chain pizza I've had. pricier but worth it. has so many toppings that you actually get something in every bite! Huge pizza, had one piece and was full. Only reason i gave 4 stars is that this isn't "ny style" its a regular crust pizza like dominos or Hungry Howie's, just cooked in a fire oven. They were very busy (sat night) ordered to-go and took about 45 mins (didn't mind waiting). Being new, I figured it would take a while. Overall great pizza, just a little misleading.

Ordered for pick up on Sunday, January 4th. The estimated pick up was 1:20PM (25 minutes) Got the food at 1:38PM (43 minutes) Restaurant less than half full and appeared to be an adequate level of staff. Pizza is overall okay. The crust is very thick and hard. Would never call it “NY Style” in any world. Taste is comparable to a mall food court pizza that you would eat because it’s available. Sauce could be any generic marinara found in a grocery store. Will probably not return. There are multiple options for better NY style pizza around town to include Papas Pizza Pensacola Downtown, Graffiti Pizza, and Sky’s Pizza Pie.

We wanted to try this new NY style pizza place. Ultimately, we won't come back. My first thought was that the prices were pretty high. And after taking the time to compare with other places around town, I think they're pretty outrageous. We got one large pizza and one calzone. That was just shy of $50. Yikes. Their prices are falsely advertised as well. Their build-your-own calzone says it starts at $10 and it comes with ricotta and mozzarella to start, then you add toppings. What they DON'T tell you is that the mozzarella is an automatic added upcharge at over $2, so REALLY they start at $12. Deceptive. Hopefully it's good... When I went in to pick up the pizza, I overheard a family as they were leaving say "definitely had better pizza elsewhere." Not a good sign. To add to the concern, our order came out 5 mins late despite their not being busy. They gave a 30-minute time estimation, which I feel should have been adequate for our two items. The pizza was good. Not spectacular, not "nearly $30 good" by ANY stretch of the imagination, but good. The Italian sausage in the calzone was very tasty. The prices don't get you any decent atmosphere. Sky's is all around better. Lost Pizza is better and more fun. Tuscan Oven is better and nicer. And all of them are better priced. You won't get bad food here, but you'll pay entirely too much for it.

NY Style Pizza! Not a CHANCE!!!! Was excited as i am from NYC and have struggled to find anything close. Lou's, Pappas and Sky's try real hard and come close. Dead give away is no pizza displayed for sale by the slice. A NY Style pizza and restaurant have pies on display as you walk in and slices ready to go. Its simple process but ignored by POSERS! Just look at the picture. Might as well be Dominos!!! Sorry Johnny!!!! Its just more Bad pizza!!! Added Review!! Went back today and ordered 7 wings Hot with Blue cheese as well as a Johnny's Calzone. The wings are expectable and the Calzone was a sponge with very little going on inside. Defiantly not a NYC Calzone. wings and a Calzone almost $30.00. Sorry Johnny!!! You should invest in a pizza front end guy from NY to show you how simple it could be to make NY anything. Its not the water its the pizza maker!!!!!!!!! Want to think positive here, Go to Sal's Pizzeria in Navarre (Hes from Brooklyn NY) get a pie and bring it to your pizza guys. Say this what real NY pie is, not the Dominos they have been shoveling out. If you can release yourselves from the chain gang i would be most excited to buy your Pie!!! I emailed in response to Johnnys corporate response. Would have loved to help get the reviews positive. No response from Jonny’s corporate In the mean time!!! Went to Sals in Navarre. Veal cutlet parm with mom’s spaghetti. Absolutely amazing took a pie to go. Below is what a real New York City style pizza looks like taste even better. Sorry Johnny!
