  My wife and I bounce between three different sonic drive ins where we live. The service is spotty and wait times are awful. The other night they forgot I had ordered and after 45 minutes I pushed the button and got attitude. I like the smash burger. The sonic that is furthest away is awesome but the drive is almost worth it.

  The service was just complete garbage. Pulled up. Pushed the button, the person taking our order asked what we wanted, and as my wife started telling her, the woman was carrying on a conversation with someone inside the store. Talking about personal stuff not work related. My wife just completed telling her what she wanted, and gets "I'm sorry, what did you want again. Obviously, the person taking the order had other priorities. She had to tell her 3 times what she wanted. My turn. I had to repeat myself 11 times, 11 !!!!! During a one-drink order. She was not paying attention to anything. Completely unacceptable. Get a different job or switch roles, maybe cook the fries. But taking orders requires someone who actually pays attention and has at least basic attention to detail. Hopefully, management or someone can see this and save others some frustration.

  Ordered a grape slushie with nerds candy and Red Bull in it and a cherry limeade during Happy Hour. Was told the total was $8 and some change. Gave them my card, got the drinks and left. They did not hand me a receipt, but I did not think anything of it. I looked at my bank account a couple hours later and they charged me $13 and some change. For 2 drinks that is insane so I thought that cannot be right. I called the store to see what they could do, the guy who answered had no idea how to handle it. Very unhelpful and rude on the phone. He didn’t really see to care about the matter at all

  The service here is very friendly. They were busy and our food came out very fresh. The french fries were great. The smasher was perfect.
