would not recommend going here if you like bad customer service for some mid food. i’ve personally worked at a sonic up north must just be a lot better up there out the door in under 4 was the motto even with a full lot. i don’t know when this “new management” stopped including 1 marinara with mozzarella sticks but that’s insane and the amount of attitude that was given to my by the “manager” was pretty crazy so the better option is to just go somewhere else don’t listen to their sign.

I gave the food one star but honestly don’t know how the food is because we usually ignored. The only reason I stopped today and am posting a review is because side of the sign that said “Give us a try under new management”. So I did, and waited at the drive though for 8 minutes with nobody answering. Ignored again like normal.
We are locals. This location is right by the beach and a water park. We never go here because of how bad the service is. Won’t be going back. If the workers are overwhelmed you’d think they would hire enough staff.
I would even be ok if they told me it would be a long wait. But the consistent ignoring is crazy.

Horrible customer service. I go thru the drive thru the lady ask me to speak up because she couldn’t hear me over loud speaker so I speak louder and she tells me if I a want to yell into the speaker she won’t serve me when she asked me to speak up train employees to learn to deal w customers would not recommend here in the evening at all

The food wasn't as good as it usually is from sonic. The service was mediocre (the person who took my order thought I was in the drive through when I was in a stall.) I guess we can chop it up to being an overwhelming busy Saturday! The atmosphere was clean, and everything seemed to be working. No one was rude, it just seemed to be chaotic and unorganized.
This establishment truly deserves 0 stars. As a local, I’ve given this Sonic multiple chances over the years, but the service continues to be insufficient. My husband recently had knee surgery and wanted to try a smash burger, so despite my hesitation, I stopped by around 11:40 AM.
I pulled into a stall and pressed the red button on the ordering kiosk. An SUV with several kids was ordering beside me, so I expected to wait. However, once they finished, the carhop never acknowledged my stall. I waited several minutes, checked the kiosk repeatedly, and each time it confirmed that the button was activated and someone would be with me shortly. To be fair, I set a five-minute timer to give them a chance. When that timer went off, I still had not been greeted.
It’s important to note that the SUV and I were the only customers in the parking lot, and there were no cars in the drive-thru. There was simply no reason for such neglect.
This Sonic has struggled for at least the past five years, and it’s clear the owners have not been able to provide consistent food quality or customer service. At this point, it might be worth rethinking their approach—or their management entirely—because the current operation only frustrates the community.
