- CDCarlos Leon (DJ)5 days ago3.0I don't believe in tipping before the service is performed. We asked the guy if he could cut the sandwich in four, he said he could only cut it in 2. Gave us a drink that was filled with ice when we ask them to please remove the ice he said we get a free refill before leaving we asked for a refill, no one was to be found literally! I would order the sandwich again in a heartbeat... it was delicious! Rude unprofessional service. Sorry but I won't be going to this Charlie's ever again.

- JHJustin HilbertMar 9, 20262.0Listen… I’m from the Philly orbit, which means I take cheesesteaks about as seriously as people take religion or the Eagles on a Sunday. So walking up to Charley’s Cheesesteaks, I had hope in my heart and cholesterol in my future. What I received instead was… a sandwich that thinks it’s a cheesesteak. The bread tried its best, I’ll give it that. But the meat situation felt like it had a long day and gave up halfway through. It wasn’t bad, exactly. It just had the personality of someone from Delco saying “yeah it’s fine, whatever” while clearly being disappointed. Cheese distribution was chaotic at best. Some bites had a heroic amount, others were like the cheese took PTO. Now look, I’m not saying it’s the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. If you’re starving in a mall and your blood sugar is doing the Macarena, it’ll absolutely keep you alive. But calling it a cheesesteak in the same universe as the real deal back home feels a little like calling Wawa coffee “fine dining.” Two stars because it is technically food, and the people working there were nice enough. But if you’re from Philly or anywhere within yelling distance of I-95, you’re gonna take one bite, look at the sandwich, and quietly whisper: “C’mon man… what are we doing here.”
