I recently ordered the Friday lemon chicken special along with a pepperoni pizza. Overall, the meal was average.
The lemon chicken had good flavor, and the chicken itself was reasonably tender. However, it was served with approximately a quarter inch of thin, soup-like liquid covering the bottom of the plate. While I assume it was a combination of broth, butter, and lemon juice, the consistency was unexpected and overwhelming. In my experience, lemon chicken is typically finished with a light sauce rather than being served in a broth, which affected the overall presentation and enjoyment of the dish.
The pepperoni pizza was also acceptable but did not stand out. I understand that Neapolitan pizza differs from traditional American-style pizza, particularly in texture and cheese presentation. That said, the cheese did not appear fully melted and remained in distinct clumps rather than evenly distributed. Additionally, the sauce was quite thin, which made the crust soggy and muted the overall flavor.
The pricing was reasonable, but based on this experience, I would rate the meal a 5 out of 10. Unfortunately, I do not anticipate returning.
