  Let me tell you about the sushi place that was so great, it ruined every other spot for me… Sushi by Bou is my partner and I’s FAVORITE place for an intimate omakase experience. The food is incredible, the ambience is top tier and the energy from the staff is always so welcoming and kind. We just returned to eat here again and being recognized and welcomed so warmly by staff members was really fantastic. Our chef was so kind and even offered to take this cute picture of us from the last time we ate… It’s always such an elegant experience and the food & flavor is so is unbelievably unique… I’m writing this review already daydreaming about the next date night we’re coming back!

  Best experience by far. Amazing and great quality omakase. And to top it all off our chef JB was the greatest. JB not only made the best pieces of food he also was very funny and made our experience way better. Will be coming back.

  Twelve courses, and not a single miss. From the moment you walk in, it feels intimate, small, beautifully designed, and intentional. You’re seated, drinks are brought over, and there’s this quiet anticipation while they reset the bar. It feels like you’re about to experience something, not just eat. Once it begins, it doesn’t let up. Bite after bite, everything was thoughtful, balanced, and genuinely delicious. No filler, no this one was okay, just a steady rhythm of really well executed bites. We had three chefs, but JB was our main, and he was incredible. You could feel the care, the precision, and the pride in what he was serving. It elevated the entire experience. At one point, a woman sitting next to us mentioned she’s been to multiple omakases and said this was her favorite by far. After finishing the full experience, I understood exactly what she meant. 5 out of 5. No notes. I will absolutely be back.

  We did the top tasting menu at Sushi by Bou in Palm Beach Gardens, and for nearly $600, (with drinks) the experience felt less like fine dining and more like being processed by a very elegant conveyor belt. The fish was good, which only made the rest of it more tragic. Eighteen courses were rushed out in under two hours, a drink was forgotten, and the table sat uncleared until we asked. At this price point, one expects hospitality, pacing, and attention to detail, not the unsettling feeling that the restaurant is trying to set a land speed record for omakase. Stylish room, decent food, and service haunted by indifference. I would not return.
