  I will be back but new years eve fish tacos were icky. They took them right off the bill but I was really looking forward to them. Tableside guacamole was yummy. Very pretty atmosphere and vibe. Service was great. Just not the fish lol

  From the moment we were seated, Sergio made our entire dining experience absolutely exceptional. He greeted us with such warmth and genuine hospitality that it immediately set the tone for the meal. His professionalism, attentiveness, and positive energy never wavered from start to finish, and it truly felt like he cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. Sergio was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain options, make thoughtful recommendations, and ensure everyone at the table felt confident in their choices. Our food arrived perfectly timed, exactly as ordered, and any small request we had was handled promptly and with a smile. He struck the perfect balance between being attentive without ever being intrusive, which is something that really stands out in great service. One highlight of our visit was the mimosa service. Sergio made sure our glasses were always refreshed in a seamless and professional way, enhancing our brunch experience without ever making it feel excessive or rushed. His attention to detail and timing elevated what could have been a simple drink order into a memorable part of the meal. Beyond his excellent service, Sergio’s pride in his work and his background was truly admirable. Knowing he is from Guatemala added an extra layer of appreciation for the diverse and welcoming atmosphere he helped create. He represented himself, his culture, and the restaurant with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Overall, Sergio went above and beyond in every way. His exceptional service, friendly demeanor, and dedication to customer satisfaction made our visit unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to have Sergio as your waiter, you’re guaranteed an outstanding dining experience. He is truly a gem and an asset to this restaurant.

  I am rating this a one star because as a frequent visitor I have observed this previously. Most of the staff is great. The bartenders are top notch, the waiters are attentive and efficient and the bussers are the hardest working I’ve seen and always friendly. The manager however now, for the second time has spoken to one of the bussing staff in such a disrespectful tone that it ruined my enjoyment of my meal. I can’t enjoy a meal out while staff i have become familiar with and know to be hard working and customer favorites are openly mistreated in the workplace. I won’t be a witness to that nonsense. Do better.

  First we where seated at a outdoor table that was not properly cleaned. We were swarmed by flies. We asked to be moved to another table. When we moved, all of the chairs and table was covered in bird waste. When we pointed this out to the server, he said we should try to find some chairs that were clean. After going through a dozen plus chairs, we chose the best ones. Our food was served luke warm and was uninspiring. When paying our bill, we filled out the comment section with our experience. Within 3 minutes, a man approached our table and asked about our negative review. We told him, and he responded in a aggressive and bullying manner. He told us, they were to busy to wipe tables and chairs,and we should expect this, because it's outdoors. He never even apologized. We were appalled. There was only a few tables at this time and the manager only appeared when a complaint was made. My guest said he could not imagine ever being treated like this, the negative comments were made so things can be improved, not for a manager to verbally berate customers.

  At Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, we had a mixed food experience—but a few items were honestly excellent, and the service had some thoughtful touches for families. Best food first (the highlights) • Grilled wings + avocado tangy mayo sauce (10/10): These were the star of the meal. The wings were grilled really well and that avocado tangy mayo sauce was amazing—creamy, tangy, and genuinely a must try. • Kids menu chicken tenders & fries (10/10): Great portion size, tasted fresh, and the tenders were nicely cooked. This was one of the best kids meals we’ve had out—everything felt freshly prepared. • Rice & beans (8/10): Very good sides—well-seasoned and comforting. Definitely worth ordering. Items that were just okay • Chicken tacos (6/10): Looked good, but the main ingredient (chicken) wasn’t very flavorful. It wasn’t bad—just not memorable. • Salad (5/10): Fine, but not extraordinary. Didn’t stand out compared to the rest. Family-friendly touches (appreciated) Even though the place has a strong bar vibe, I want to mention something positive: they were thoughtful with kids. They provided a nice sippy cup for my baby to drink water, and they also had crayons and a coloring sheet, which helped keep my little one engaged. Small things like that make a big difference when dining with a toddler. Atmosphere / vibe The ambiance is dim and romantic, and the chandeliers are gorgeous—the interior looks really nice. However, this place clearly feels like it’s popular for bar service and drinks, and the food/dining area isn’t separate from the bar. Because it’s near the club area and has a strong bar setting, I personally wouldn’t recommend it as a go-to family/kids spot, even though they do offer some kid-friendly extras. Practical details • They close at 10 PM • Parking: paid street parking or a parking garage about a 5-minute walk • Restrooms: very clean Final takeaway Come here for the wings, great kids tenders, and the vibe—especially for adults. Just know it leans more “date night / drinks” than “family dining,” even though the staff did make a nice effort to accommodate a baby.
