I decided to call the Five Guys Palm Beach Gardens store directly, not really expecting any real solution. The district manager, Kevin, was there at the time, so he spoke to me and apologized profusely, explaining that they made a mistake on their end with our order. It wasn’t the courier’s fault at all. He wanted to make it right so he re-made the entire order (even the items that we already got!) and personally drove 30 minutes to deliver it to our house himself. We ordered using a 3rd party so he really did not have to do that at all, but he did. Talk about going above and beyond. We are forever Five Guys customers!

There were mushrooms in my burger, which wasn’t what I ordered at all. This is unacceptable I specifically ordered a plain cheeseburger with just mustard and ketchup, and somehow, I ended up with mushrooms in my burger. How do you mix up plain with something like mushrooms? It's a simple order, and this mistake shouldn't have happened. I’m disappointed because I didn’t get what I asked for, and it’s not just about the food it’s about attention to detail. If I’m paying for something I want it to be exactly what I ordered.

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
