When my dasher arrived she was told my food had been "picked up already" suggesting that someone stole my food. It was after midnight I had worked all day and simply wanted dinner before I went to bed. The dasher in an effort to be helpful called me and explained why she had not yet delivered my food and put me on speaker to speak with the general manger. He stated he couldn't make my order again because they cant lose that product. ( which was only 10 wings) I explained I cant reorder on the app tonight because the cutoff time had already passed. I asked if he could make my food so the dasher could at least deliver it to me and in the morning I could make the report with door dash he was adamant that he could not take the loss for the product. ( again simply 10 wings). The lack of empathy, carelessness with the handling of the order, refusal to be accommodating when they didnt ensure my food was picked up by the correct person, and overall disregard for the situation suggest a real need for empathy training and better management.
