Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Mrs mendi is amazing, I ordered slices of cheeses, and she granted that request with the most upmost gratitude. If I could live in a building other than my house, it would be this establishment strictly because of Mrs Mendi

They never get my order correct. No matter what I order. No matter what time of the day, drive through or inside, busy or not busy and even if they repeat the order back to me correctly. Even when the receipt has the correct order on it. It has been a running joke for years for my household. I leave the house saying 'let's hope they get the order right this time'. If they ever did I would be shocked. Something as simple as asking for no ice in my drink or even ordering a burger as it comes is an issue for them.

Waited in the drive through line for roughly 35-40 min with only 2 cars ahead of me. Staff inside had AirPods in and dancing around phones in hand and not doing much for getting orders together. Very disappointing and food came out cold. I wasted my time in line so you hopefully don’t have to. Go somewhere else, it was NOT worth the wait.

Ordered a double Whopper with cheese combo through the drive-thru when I got it. Did not have cheese on it. French fries were cold. Meat was very dry and tasted old. Not a pleasant experience that started with the lady in the Drive-Thru taking orders who did not know the prices of the item she was selling and would not let me pull up to the board to see them. Not a great experience. Not the best part of Burger in town. Do yourself a favor and find another one

Both my burger and fries were completely cold like they’d just come out of the freezer and been microwaved for two seconds. I specifically asked for spicy and regular ketchup, and repeated my request again at the window. I was told it was in the bag. Guess what? No sauce in the bag when we got home. I could at least eat my ice cold, greasy, floppy, fries somewhat enjoyably if I had ketchup. This place used to be the best whataburger in the whole state. It sadly has gone down hill, and has consistently been a bad experience. Do better guys. 1 star.
