Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

On the evening of 1 January 2026 I placed the order for a #1 and a #10 at the drive-thru. I received a plain Whataburger with cheese and a number 13, order #385319. The evening shift was so darn illiterate they couldn't get it right on the second attempt. I didn't realize this until I got home. A word of advice DO NOT USE thier drive through. You get screwed at the drive through!🤬

I went around 10:00 PM to get food for my family. The fries were nasty and old. When I pulled up to the window, the employee was extremely rude—there was no smile, no courtesy, and no sense of hospitality. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning to this location ever.

Every time I go to this location, they never get my order right. Ordered 2 meals and was told the total at the box, then go to pay and I am told a much higher price. Get my stuff and I had 2 small drinks and 2 burgers, no fries. Then they wanted me to pay more for the fries.

I just spent $40 of my hard earned money. Drove 35 minutes from Pace to Jay, Florida with no spicy chicken sandwich. Hunger pains are real.

Their signature “Whataburger” is a small, pathetic, disgusting excuse for food. No human being ever looked at or ate something like this and thought “What a burger!”
