Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers consistently reported extremely long wait times, often exceeding 30 minutes, even during non-peak hours.

We go to this Whataburger pretty regularly but this is the third time in a row they have given me the wrong drink. I love sweet tea and get it from here, but the last three times we have gone they have given me unsweet tea. There have been times when they messed up a sandwich or forgot a fry. The people there are pretty nice but this happens way to often.

We dont really complain about mistakes or missing items but this was something. My husband asked for my avocado bacon burger with NO ONION, so we trusted the manager who was taking the order to have it right, even when she didn't read it back and he didn't double check the receipt. When he got the food and checked before we left he noticed it said ADD ONION so he went to go ask if they could remake it since he didnt catch on the receipt they said to add onion. He even apologized and said sorry he didnt catch it on the reciept. The manager proceeds to loudly, while sitting in a booth talking that she " READ BACK THE ORDER, HE DIDNT SAY NO ONION" , kinda crazy to be so loud and apparently inconvenienced. even some young girls who were there waiting as well said that was pretty rude. We've both worked in food service and understand getting frustrated but that was straight unprofessional.

They never follow directions. I have to say several times ONLY MAY & KET for my burger. This time my son picked up six dinners and my triple meat burger was fully dressed even though the receipt had only mayonnaise & ketchup. Hour later on my way back there for the correction, the manager told me that I should have brought the bag with receipt attached to it back. By this time the kids had demolished everything how the customer is supposed to know that. Needless to say, I got no satisfaction. The mgr. tried to use Walmart policy by saying “ I needed a receipt for them to correct my order “. I corrected her and said even Walmart provides customer service by putting the credit on a gift card if no receipt so try another comparison. I will never go back to PACE WATABURGER. Poor customer service and she put that decision on her manager.

Service was mid. The lady at the window was not nice. No sauce given for fries or chicken tenders. I was not asked what sauce I wanted. Lady at window did not make us feel wanted. Food was not anything special, same as any other fast food for burgers, chicken and fries. Nothing special here. There was no mayo on our burger.

First off I love whataburger but the whataburger infront of Walmart is just not it, I’d rather drive to five points cause i know id get better food. I got two number 13s the frys were soggy, the crust on the chicken felt under cooked, and they had to give us extra chicken strips cause how small they were. The bread wasn’t even toasted little less cut in half, the gravy was damn near burnt Ian never in my life seen white gravy almost turn brown…and chunky. I couldn’t even finish my food I felt sick to my stomach.
