I anticipated an apology from their side, as the error was evidently theirs; however, they claimed they had no control over orders placed through the app. Consequently, I advise customers to refrain from using that application, as it may lead to inconvenience; especially if there is poor customer service led by the top management, such as the restaurant manager.
