  I accidentally placed my mobile order at the wrong Tropical Smoothie location. When I arrived at a different location, the manager there went above and beyond to help, attempting multiple times to contact the East Colonial store to cancel the order. Unfortunately, no one answered. Within about 10 minutes, I reached the East Colonial location myself. I explained the situation to an employee, who placed me on hold and then transferred me to the manager/owner, Anne. Despite confirming she had already been informed, she expected me to repeat the entire situation and showed little interest in resolving it. She then stated she could not issue a full refund because the smoothie had already been made. I never picked up the order and never received the product. She offered only a 70% refund, claiming the ingredients were used and discarded. Charging a customer for a product they did not receive—mistake or not—is unacceptable. When I asked for this decision or policy in writing, she refused. Clearly it was made up. Overall, customer service at this location is severely lacking. Unless you’re comfortable with poor customer service and being charged for products you never receive, I do not recommend this store.

  If you love paying big prices n getting served small portions… then this is the place for you. Their food is exactly like Wawa with a markup. I am never eating here again.

  Good smoothies, good food, insides are clean when coming to pick up or grab something. No complaints.

  Ive ordered here at least 7+ times for puckyp Only becase it was close to work and i like smoothies. But today was the last time. Im over it. Burritos are always wet and soggy like today they loooaded my caribbean jerk with pineapple salsa bruh, more than rice & bean like wtff! Horrible wont be comming back sorry!

  - edit - came back today for a smoothie for breakfast, went with the Acai Berry Blast with Yogurt and Dark chocolate... Always Awesome service, Always friendly and helpful with suggestions... The Acai Berry Blast with Yogurt and Dark chocolate is very flavorful but also CraZy sweet for my liking, tastes like there's more sugar than fruit... oh well. - Tropical Smoothie hasn't changed much in its aesthetic... the smoothies are fine but filled with highly processed dried fruits and powder to cut costs... That makes for a very overly flavorful and sweet drink but with very little health benefits compared to using fresh fruits and ingredients. The service here was great, very friendly staff and helpful with the menu, quick service and a huge smoothie for the price (6.99). - overall, for a fruity flavorful milkshake or a good breakfast wrap, this is the place to go... for something healthy with a lot less fats and sugars, there're a few locally operated smoothie bars less than half a mile around from here that use fresh fruit, milk alternatives, natural protein powders and natural flavorings like fresh real cacao.!!! - Enjoy ...
