From the food to the service not one bad thing to say about this restaurant. The taco trio is one of the best dishes they have. The taco portion sizes are very large for the price and cannot recommend the churros and horchata enough. Would spend the money to just eat dessert there. The service was outstanding very polite and kind.

Food was amazing. I’ve been to 5 different locations from south Florida to other locations in Central Florida. This was by far the best experience I’ve had from all locations. Food was amazing and fast. Tables were seating area was super clean. Staff was the best/ super friendly. Emily, Ryan, and Ryle greeted me and others as we came into the door and gave us our food with a smile. Ryan even grabbed our trays when we done eating and refilled our drinks. Highly recommend and will come again.

Great value, choose 3 items for $16! I tried the Caribbean Birria and the Bang Bang Shrimp. The bang bang wasn't exactly traditional, but still really tasty. The spice sauces are solid, and they give you a side of their cooking broth, which was a nice touch. Loved the food overall. Only downside, the music was a bit too loud. You order on a screen and they deliver to your table.

had such a beautiful experience at Talkin’ Tacos (SoDo, south of downtown Orlando) — one of those places where everything just aligns. From the moment you walk in, the energy is set. The glowing mural inside — Frida Kahlo–meets–Día de los Muertos — immediately pulls you in. It’s vibrant, soulful, and modern without losing its roots. You can feel that this place cares about experience, not just food. Even with kiosks for ordering, what could’ve felt impersonal was the exact opposite — and that’s entirely because of Cam and Ryan. Their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It felt more like being guided through a dining experience than ordering at a counter. That kind of hospitality is rare these days, and it made all the difference. We planned to take our food to go, but because of them — the vibe, the energy, the care — we stayed and ate in. I ordered the loaded chicken nachos, which are listed as a starter but arrived like a full-on meal (or three). Generous portions, bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and real attention to detail — not skimpy, not rushed, and definitely not an afterthought. The guac alone was plentiful and beautifully done. Everything felt intentional. From the creative birria ramen that blends comfort and culture, to the horchata that tasted like authentic sips straight from Mexico, to Jarritos in glass bottles that somehow complete the whole experience — it all works together. Fast service. Fresh food. Stunning art. And hospitality that made us feel genuinely happy to be there. Cam and Ryan didn’t just serve food — they elevated the entire experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

I’ve been going to talkin tacos for years whenever i’m in Miami and now I go to their SoDo location. Today, at 9:53pm, I arrived to pick up my order (which my text said it would be ready by then at 9:53pm). I checked in with a girl with light eyes, she asked for my name, I stated my name and she said to give her a few minutes, so I sit right across from the cash register at the table. I notice them placing completed orders on the rack but I just sit there and wait, wait, wait because I was waiting for her to tell me my orders ready (granted I ordered nachos). 20 minutes go by it was 10:13pm and I get up and ask if my order was ready, the same girl with light eyes asked me what my name was again, and hold and behold, my order was one of the ones they placed on the rack 10-15 minutes ago. so I check my order and of course, my nachos were all soggy. so I respectfully ask her if they can remake my order and she tells her co-partner running orders as well with a septum piercing “she wants her order remade” which was received by both of them with eye rolling, attitude, and slick remarks. the girl with red head in the kitchen asked what happened with the order because she made it right and instead of taking accountability for where THEY went wrong running orders, they told her “she just wants them remade” which then the girl with red hair rolled her eyes as well. This was completely unacceptable, and extremely unprofessional to be behaving this way towards customers for THEIR wrong doing right in front of them. While I was waiting for my nachos to be remade, the gentleman helping them run orders was looking for a customer to give them their extra nacho cheese that the customer had ordered and paid for, when the gentleman asked the two girls running orders where had the customer went, both of them raised their voices at him, reprimanded and disrespected him in front of all of the customers including myself, because he packaged the cheese in the wrong container and they had already give the customer cheese so he left. I understand that he didn’t use the right container but the way they spoke to him in that manner in front of all the customers was embarrassing for him and very unprofessional as well, the girl with the septum piercing went as far as saying “you’re doing to much bro” - yelling. The gentleman seemed uncomfortable, as I was too - for the way they spoke to him and he ended up walking towards the back of the store/kitchen. I don’t know who’s letting these two employees get away with this behavior but that is in no way, shape, or form, the correct way to 1. treat customers and 2. speak to fellow coworkers in that manner. If he did something wrong and it wasn’t the first time, correcting him privately would’ve been the right way to do so, not in front of customers, belittling him in this way. They were just flat out disrespectful.
