I had a very upsetting experience at this location.
I came in to pick up a prepaid order under the name Astarria Sampson. The employee at the counter spoke to me in a sarcastic and dismissive tone when I asked a simple question about the restroom. When I asked for my order, she refused to give me my food unless I signed a receipt, even though the order was already paid for.
When I asked for an explanation, she withheld my food and physically pulled it back when I tried to retrieve it. The situation escalated when she came from behind the counter and began threatening to fight me. A manager came out and held her back but would not allow me to speak with him about what happened.
This behavior was extremely unprofessional and made me feel unsafe. Customers should not be threatened or treated disrespectfully when picking up a paid order. I hoped management addresses this issue but she took the employee side and refused to speak to me. The manager was immediately to her defense and told me to leave the store. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT THIS LOCATION EVER OR RECOMMEND
Genuinely one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had from any restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life. The older woman that served me around 6 PM was incredibly rude to me, despite the fact that I was being exceptionally nice and repeatedly thanked her and called her ma’am, as I’m always very respectful with food service employees having been one for so long myself. She snapped at me when I asked her if I could have a certain style of sandwich and said,I guess you can,” and was repeatedly unpleasant in other ways, such as telling me I needed to speak up and more quickly when I was trying not to tell her too many toppings at once, and I also struggle with auditory processing so I don’t realize how softly I may be speaking at times or ask for things to be repeated while apologizing profusely for it. She also snapped at me when I was trying to scan my QR code because I couldn’t get to work and said “Patience is a virtue.” She was also openly bad mouthing who I can only assume to be their area manager to another employee, though the other employee did not seem to engage in the conversation very much.
I am so deeply understanding that the food service industry can be such a thankless one, and one that can be filled with an excessive amount of frustrating situations from an employee side. However, that does not excuse the fact that she was so incredibly unkind to me, even after I left her a tip. I will happily drive another 10 or 15 minutes out of the way to go to a different location in the future because she was so deeply unkind.

I have never experienced service this hostile and unprofessional in my life. From the moment we walked in, the environment was aggressive and uncomfortable. One of the employees immediately snapped, “I TOLD YOU we don’t have herbs and cheese bread,” followed by “I am not done,” as if I was an inconvenience for simply standing there. I waited patiently for her to indicate when I could order.
I was there with my boyfriend and my mother, all of us waiting, when an Uber driver walked in to pick up an order. Instead of handling it calmly, the second employee came out yelling at him, “WHICH ONE, SIR? WHICH TICKET ARE YOU PICKING UP?” The man was clearly confused. She then threw her hands up and said, “You know what, just take them both. I don’t care. I’m over it. I’m not dealing with this, uh uh,” and stormed off to the back. This was completely inappropriate and uncomfortable for everyone in the store.
The other employee, I believe her name was Jaque, made my sandwiches without changing her gloves, which is unacceptable. She spoke to me in a commanding tone, telling me I had to say the sauces first. When I mentioned I wanted three sandwiches, she rolled her eyes and audibly grunted at me in front of other customers, as if doing her job was a burden.
By this point, the hostility had completely ruined the experience. When she asked if I wanted to sign up for rewards, I politely declined because I just wanted to leave. I didn’t even get my cookie because I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome.
This location was openly hostile, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I felt treated this poorly at any business. I will be contacting corporate, and based on the existing reviews, it’s clear this behavior has been an ongoing issue with no improvement. I will also be sharing this experience on my social platforms and with everyone I know so they never go to this location.

Subway #31956-0 – Disrespectful, hostile, and unacceptable
This location delivers one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The staff was openly disrespectful, particularly a woman identified as Jaque, who behaved in a rude, hostile, and unprofessional manner.
She began shouting “JUST ENGLISH!” at us, despite the fact that we were already speaking English. This kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, but especially in Orlando, a global and tourist-driven city.
There was no courtesy, no professionalism, and absolutely no sense of customer service. The attitude displayed reflects a very low standard of education and training.
Do not come to this location if you expect to be treated with basic respect.
Subway management should be aware that employees like this harm the brand and will continue to cause direct financial losses if corrective actions are not taken.
Completely unacceptable.
This place is always so clean and yhe food is fresh. I have been to this location for multiple years, even though there is a closer one to me. However, today 1/22/25 at 4:40pm was different. I went in to order my sub and the 2 ladies that were there, have helped me before. Well, today they both decided to tell me how my sub was gonna be made instead of how I wanted it made. Last time I checked, subways makes it how you want and not the employee? I wanted some other veggies on my sub before it got toasted but the lady decided she was gonna make it how she wanted and that was without the other veggies, she would add them after the toasting. When it came out of the toaster, the other lady finished it. 1st thing out of her mouth was, "veggies before sauce". Once again trying to make MY sub how they wanted to. I replied, "just mayo" she said, "no other veggies ?". At this point I am mad that employee's are basically telling me how my sub is gonna be made or I get nothing. I will not be going back to this location. I hope others got the same treatment and say something as well. The franchise owner needs to ha e a talk with them on who gets the choice on how a sub gets made, within reason of course. Like when sauce or veggies go on a sub they are paying for.
