I have given this place more chances than it deserves, and I am officially tapping out. I love Sonic. I’m from the Midwest and back home there’s a Sonic in every town like it’s a law of nature. This location, however, needs to be put out of its misery.
Every visit somehow gets worse, which honestly feels impressive at this point. Half the menu is always “unavailable,” the service is slow and unfriendly, and half the stalls look like they just… wandered off. The whole place is run-down, and the fries are so bad they should be studied by science. Completely inedible.
I tried to find a single positive thing to say, and I’ve got nothing. This Sonic has broken my Midwestern heart.

I try to give this place another chance and was disappointed. It was okay ten years ago when I was a child, but now it's a shell of its former self.
There's only ever like three people working there, so it takes three hours to get something done. I showed up an hour before closing Assuming it wouldn't be busy of course, it was busy, so I don't mark them off too bad for taking 30 minutes to get me one drink.
But I literally chose to go exactly when google tells me it's not so busy and I am waiting here for approximately 35 mins for 1 drink and I still have got nothing, It took so long the app doesn't even let me see my order anymore, it tells me it's been completed yet the employee still say they're working on it.
And I am not blaming any employee i'm blaming the greedy corporate overlords and managers that choose not to staff this place effectively. And I know it's not a staffing issue because I and many of my friends have applied to this place and been rejected despite having all requirements. But who would want to work here anyway? because you're overworked and understaffed for terrible pay.
As of writing this, I finally got my order. And it wasn't even the right one, I asked for a slushie and I got a drink. But the line is so long 12 cars long as of writing this with 15 in the car stalls. It would take another 30 to 40 minutes, just to get my drink again.
0/10 never coming back again.I just feel bad for the workers because I have to deal with all this bs.And the angry customers and get terrible pay and be overworked every night
Horrible experience! Rude, hateful workers! Ordered in the app, paid and food was delivered wrong, without toppings ordered. Worker came and threw the difference at me!

It was okay nothing special I didn't really care for my burger I asked for their not to be any bacon on my burger and there was unfortunately but I didn't make a big deal of it Just because I was on a big time crunch and we had to go to a doctor's appointment same with my wife's food as well there was something wrong with it. But the person who took our order was very polite and he had sounded like he had been having a difficult day so we didn't want to make it more difficult of course

I could give a negative star review, I would. This Sonic on Semoran Boulevard in Orlando should just go ahead and close its doors.
Every single time I’ve stopped here, I’ve left disappointed—and that’s saying something, because I only go when I’m absolutely starving and have no other options nearby. It’s never a choice, it’s a last resort.
On my most recent visit, I waited several minutes at the drive-thru intercom before anyone even acknowledged me. After placing my order, I pulled forward and waited again for someone to come to the window and take my payment. Once I paid, I sat there for another 10–15 minutes with no one ahead of me and no one behind me. When my food finally arrived, it was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. Not just disappointing—unacceptable.
While I waited, I had plenty of time to observe the area. A man was mopping the concrete near the outdoor tables, dripping dirty water directly onto the seats and tabletops as he moved around. It was unsanitary and just plain gross.
The building itself is rundown, but I might overlook that if the food or service made up for it. Unfortunately, the staff have zero personality and even less customer service. No greeting, no smile, no “how are you”—just a robotic transaction. It’s clear that no one here is trained or motivated to care.
This location is in dire need of a complete overhaul—from staff attitude to cleanliness to food quality. As it stands, it’s unappealing, unsanitary, and frankly, a waste of time and money. Sonic corporate should take a hard look at this place. Until then, I’ll keep driving past—unless I’m absolutely desperate.
